We have such a fun night plan - I was wondering if anyone else makes a party out of election night? We're fortunate enough to vote in a small church multi-purpose building. The church ladies cook tons of food and sell it at reasonable prices. After voting, our family chooses from items like fried oyster sandwiches, chicken corn soup, red velvet cake, etc. Then, while eating, we chat with people in the community - some we haven't seen since the last election!
After all that, we're planning to gorge on popcorn and stay up late watching the returns. We may play some board games and cards as well. I gues its like a holiday to my family!
Anybody else do something special?

! We'll probably have pizza and salad, stay up late watching returns, have dessert, and pray for change!!!

But I think it's important that everyone exercise the right that our forefathers fought and died for. Who's actually out there voting is the way I weed out the true Patriots vs. those who just fly the flag, give lip service and call themselves Patriots. If someone can't be "inconvenienced" by voting in an election, then I take their words about how they feel about America with less credibility that I'd take someone else's words.
