Plans for Dec --how do they look?

This will be our first visit at Christmas-we will be at WDW CSR from 12/13-20. We have 8 day w/ Park Hopper and basic dining. We are family of 6 (dh and I, ds 21, dd 13, ds 11, ds 6). We will drive from SC on 12/12 and spend night at Spring Hill Suites so we can be at WDW late morning of 12/13.

12/13 - check in; get passes and go to Hollywood Studios for day ---it's a EMH night so we can stay until 11. We have an ADR at Hollywood and Vine, but we're having second thoughts. Thinking just do counter service that day.

12/14 - we won't get started too early -- MK w/ 2:25 lunch at Crystal Palace. This is an EMH night so we could stay until 11 if we wanted.

12/15 -Cape May breakfast 10:35. Epcot and maybe some tours of other resorts. Debating MVMCP or Candlelight Procession that night.

12/16 --This will be the only day we go to AK - we have 1:00 ADR at Tusker House which gives us priority seating at Nemo. This is an EMH so we'll probably stay until 8. Then head back to resort and let kids do arcades or whatever.

12/17 --Thinking pool day if warm enough, visiting other resorts, or going Downtown. ADR Wolfgang Puck Cafe 7.

12/18 --back to Epcot ---ADR 1900 Park Fare at 7:40. Epcot EMH until 12:30.

12/19 ---ADR Chef Mickey 12:10 --then to MK for day/night. It's EMH until 11pm.

12/20 ---Check-out day. ADR at Ohana or Cape May for late breakfast. Then we can go where ever before heading back toward SC. We will drive until tired and then spend the night somewhere.

We'll be at POFQ from 12/11-21 and there are 7 of us: me, DH, Dsis, Dneice-20, Neice's BF-22, DD13 and DS7.

My sis has "THE NOTEBOOK" in her possession right now so I don't have our touring plans here in front of me, but going by memory...your plans look really similar to ours! I think we also have an ADR at Hollywood & Vine on the 13th (then going to check out Osborne Lights), and I'm pretty sure it's the 15th that we're going to the Candlelight Processional (did the dining package - lunch at Le Cellier, CP at 5:00).

Are you going to MVMCP?

Maybe we'll see you there! Less than 2 months to go..woohooo!!!

You are going to have so much fun. We have been several times at Christmas. Seeing all the resorts especially the Grand Floridan and the Wilderness Lodge add to the holiday fun. The sleigh ride at the Wilderness Lodge is fun too!

I would love to get the dining pkg for Le Cellier, but since we just decided a week ago to go, it doesn't look hopeful. Although, maybe I should call back and ask specifically about the pkg. I think I just asked about an ADR.

Are you going to MVMCP?
That's what we are trying to decide. I think it would be $326 when I priced it out ---I'm trying to decide if it's worth it since we'll see the same parades, lights, etc. by going on the 19th. A part of me says, "just do it!" another part says, "that's a lot for a few hours for just parades, hot cocoa and cookies,..." It's times like this I hate the practical side of me!

Maybe we'll see you there! Less than 2 months to go..woohooo!!!

My family will arrive on 12/12 and leave on 12/20. Our party will consist of me, dh, ds 21, dsgf 20, dd 13, and ds 11. We are so excited to have the entire family together for this trip.

That is a coincidence. We love our little guy to death --but he was a big surprise! He keeps us on our toes Of course when I was pregnant it was a huge embarrassment to our oldest.

I thought about inviting dsgf ---but dh isn't ready for that yet.

OMG -- same thing here, except we're driving in from Jersey .... H&V ressies for 3:30 lunch .... hoping to stay late

We're headed back to MK and the MVMCP (did it twice before,a nd yes it's financially impractical, but SOOO worth it!

I should have checked your thread before I wrestled over all my plans!! Hope we all have a GREAT time!!

DH and I are surprising our kids dd 13, dd 10, and newly adopted ds 2.5 on the day we leave!!! .... Hopefully I can keep it a secret until then! I'm sure they will be surprised --- as will their teachers!! We're pulling them out of school for a week ... ugh ... but they're only little once! Never want to look back and say, shoulda, coulda, woulda --- especially with the huge age difference in the kids .... before I know it, our dd's will be off in HS/college, and it'll just be us and the little guy!

Looks great!! We'll be there from the 19th - 25th!!! We are getting the DDP and giving it a shot.. we have all of our ADRs done.. and we are just now counting down the days!!!
