We have 2 days set aside, but most of my family only wants to spend one day there. We have set aside August 7th and August 8th. Disneyland is open until 11 and the Studios closes at 7. Do you think its doable in one day? Am I being crazy? Please let me know what you guys think! Any tips are welcome!

As you are planning on a midweek visit it will be less busy than the weekend. To try to attempt both parks in one day and hit as many attractions I think will not be much fun. Definitely would need to have a commando type strategy.
If most of the family only want to do one day you may be better only going to Disneyland park :)

I was thinking that going to Disneyland Park only would be better, but I am afraid that I would feel like I missing out on something. If we just went to Disneyland Park, would all of the attractions I have listed be doable?

We will be there at the same time, but we are doing it in 2 1/2 days. It's our first time, so I like the idea of going at a slow pace and taking all of it in. I agree that it may be tough to get all of the rides in, especially if you want to ride something more than once. Good luck either way!

I am just so torn. I dont want to miss anything because this could be the only time I ever go to this park, but I also dont want to spend too much time there and miss out on seeing stuff in Paris. I just dont know what to do.

How many days are you planning on staying in Paris? I think you should try to convince them to stay for 1 1/2 days, just in case. There's always plenty to do at a Disney Resort, or at least that's what I'm hoping. I guess it all depends on how much other time you have, since it's essential to truly experience the City of Light.

I just spent three days there with my 5- and 3-year olds, and we didn't do as much as you list. If your family is older and moves quicker and needs less rest, maybe you can get to most things.

I wouldn't try to do both parks in one day. We spent three days at Magic Kingdom and never stepped foot in the Studios. A lot on your list can be done rather easily, such as the sites around Sleeping Beauty's castle, It's a small world and the walk-through-type attractions. You'll run into trouble trying to hit Big Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain, Indiana Jones and Peter Pan all in one day, and still have time to enjoy the park. Fast passes are great, though, if you get them early enough.

Is it just me? I think Peter Pan is highly over-rated. I found it dark, not a smooth or quiet ride (it's supposed to be a magical flying ship), and at times confusing as to where I was supposed to find something to look at. I thought Pinochio was just as enjoyable, but perhaps it doesn't have the popularity that the Peter Pan story has. My kids liked the Carrousel, Dumbo, and Casey Jr. just as as much. Their favorite was It's a Small World.

As for the more exciting rides, I prefer Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain to Indiana Jones, which was exciting, but a little too tight and confined for my taste - not to mention short-lived. Also, Indiana Jones is a bit out of the way and takes time to walk there. On the other hand, I found that since it was out of the way, the queue was a bit shorter than the other two.

We are at least going to the parks for the whole from open to close. We plan to have a character breakfast at 8:30 or 9 in the Disney Village. Our youngest member is 17, so we can move faster. However, I will try to convince my family to spend a day and half there. We are going to be in Paris for 9 days but the first and last day are mostly traveling.

must be a popular time then im there as well at the same time

we are goin for 4 days though i want to do every thing

and was worried 4 days wasnt enough i really do want to EVERYTHING though
