Well, as we get closer to our trip, and start doing the fine tuning, we've decided to cut our Orlando portion to just the 7 days we are in WDW...this take Sea World and some "lazy days" out of our picture, and adds 7 days to somewhere else...

We're looking for a lazy 7 days at a beach I guess is DH's pick. We went to St. Augustine back in '01 for a week, and stayed at Super 8 on A1A, across the street from a great uncrowdd beach!..I just checked rates, and I can't believe that I paid 80.00 per night, but DH thinks we did..(im cheap what can I say)...anyway- the hotel was fine clean comfortable etc...met some great families by the pool..

I checked Myrtle Beach, but that place just looks too darn busy for me! After 5 full days at WDW that beach just doesnt look too relaxing.

When we were at St. Augustine last time, we went to alligator land, the ponce de leon thing, ripleys, and rented scooters for a 1/2 day....we really went into it blind, not know what else it had...oh- we also walked around old town a bit.

Anyone willing to give some info on interesting things you might have done? I'm sure we will be renting scooters, and heading down the old town etc.. alligator Land was fun for the kids, and if we dont do Gatorland in Orlando- will do it again.

DH says- we dont have to plan anything, just hang out on the beach...(this from a guy who use to hate to take his shirt off outside....I think I'm suppose to "thank" Dr. Atkins now?....LOL)...so we may just go that route, but having a bit more info of the place would be great.

Oh- if anyone knows of a hotel on the beach for around 80 per night, please let me know, I'm not finding much!

Thank you all
Brandy
