Planning Weddings for those Not-yet Engaged!

Ladies I am starting to think I am never going to get engaged.... DBF and I talk about or wedding and what we each would like but I don't know what he is waiting for... maybe I am just over reacting.... I love him very much and he does make me happy (very happy to be exact)....but we have been together for 3.5 years and nothing.... we did go look at rings (he said lets go look) like 6 months ago... but I think I am doomed...... ( ok so now I am going to pray that I am just plan crazy and need to be patient)..... OK well thanks for letting me vent and please give any pixiedust available....

Your dbf sounds a lot like mine...he keeps telling me how he loves all the things I do for him and he's going to make up for it at Christmas

my dbf is super!! He is taking me to San Fransisco for Christmas!!
To a (stupid) Niners game & skiing and with any luck I can talk him into atleast one day at DL!! I hope!! I would even pay for it!!
Yesterday he told me he appreciates all the stuff I do like, I make dinner everynight, I do his laundry (i HATE dirty laundry), I am good to his son, and
I am not a witch with a b. He is just not use to any of this stuff because his ex-wife didn't do anything that I do.

I don't think any guy is dumb enough to take a girl ring shopping and NOT actually propose...I am sure it's coming!!

Then her kid would be named First Name First new last name, Second new last name White Simpson Jones Smith, etc., and all the double names keep getting added on.

So, exactly where is the line drawn? How does it exactly work?

Lol who knows He was in a very goofy mood last night and kept trying to buy me stuff a pumpkin pie, a necklace with his initial on it, nike sneakers He kept tell me I do such nice things for him all the time that he wants to do something nice for me...then at one point he said let's go look at engagement rings

But he did tell me he wants to wait for at least a year because he really wants my parents to take us seriously. His parents were engaged after 2 months so we aren't worrried about them...but after all I am almost 30 so I don't think we have to worry about my parents

I'm sure every women has thought that at one point or another. Don't give up on him yet, he's probably waiting for that "perfect" moment.

Ok would totally take that over pie any day!! I would take a romantic gesture like that over almost anything..roses...taking me out to dinner...Those are the things that really count!!

LOL, thanks for asking this question! I'm of Hispanic heritage and even I didn't get it! I remember one day asking my mom why her last name was so much longer than mine....when she tried to explain I went from to LOL.
