Planning Weddings for those Not-yet Engaged!

:lmao:

As far as bouquets, I really want pink. Dbf HATES pink, so I am not sure where that will go.

I love these:

LOL, I know what you mean about DBF hating pink. My DBF's favorite color is red and he really wants me to use black magic roses (and wear a red dress...which I'm not going to do...it's just not my thing, even though it looks fabulous on other girls! :thumbsup2 ) so we'll have to compromise on that!

I love your bouquets!

Haven't thought about a bouquet. I just know I want one of all red roses, so if you guys could give me some suggestions that would be awesome. :goodvibes

This would be for the bridesmaids

This is from my first wedding. The florist screwed up ALL the flowers but my wedding planner was so amazing she ran out to another florist and I had a NEW bouquet by the time we walked back down the aisle...married!!

:lmao:

Well people need to stop getting so easily offended.

It offends me that you are offended at something that was
directed to me :rotfl: :lmao:

I'm offended that I am planning a wedding with no groom. geeesh, I offend myself.

Okay, I'm silly, and half asleep.

What about bouquets girls?

I fell in love with this one from TheKnot:

 :lovestruc

That's beautiful!!! I love all the details. Which is funny because I loved mine too and it was really simple.

My whole wedding was pink. DH has never said he dislikes pink but he's never said he likes it either. He didn't have any say LOL. All his groomsmen had pink vests and ties and all the bridesmaids were in pink. Its my absolute favorite color. lemme see if I can find a picture of my bouquet.......

Ok, so for those of you thinking of DFTW, do you plan on having and MK or some other photoshoot? I know they're pretty expensive, but I would love to have one, the pictures I've seen are absolutely gorgeous.

***Hey, on your old thread, someone posted a really neat picture of a "virtual wedding party" that they created....how did you guys do that & how can I make one of my own? Did you go to a special website?

I made mine on David's Bridal.

Good luck with the planning everyone!

I'm married, but I love dreaming up beautiful weddings! I had a beautiful wedding, but if I could do it over again, I'd take more time for planning what I want and not what everyone else wanted. Anyway, I'm enjoying this thread, and look forward to the someday-in-the-future planning you girls are doing!

I found this fun bridal quiz.

Maybe, I could use some make-up tips as well. :teeth:

Slightly Relevant story-- When I was married 17 years ago one of my flower girls was a 4 year old I had been babysitting for the last 2 years and was very close with her family. Long story short, we all ended up moving and kept in touch until about 4 years ago. I joined Facebook a few weeks ago and on a lark looked her up. I found her! And the best part? She is going to college 20 minutes away from where I am! She is half way across the country from her family. She has been just up the road the last 2 years and I had no idea! We got together today for the first time in 17 years. My sweet baby flower girl is all grown up into a young woman.

So anyone have ideas on their flower girl dresses? I had 2 flower girls and no ring bearers. We didn't know any little boys! But my flower girls were adorable. Oh, I had worked at a bridal shop for about a year and loved this flower girl dress they had and fortunately they still had it when I was getting married so of course, that was their dress.

Aw that is so wonderful you got back in touch with her. I was the flower girl in my aunt and uncle's wedding when I was 3. It was the early 90's and I had the biggest, most teased hair ever :rotfl:

My best friend is expecting next May and her son/daughter will definitely be my future flower girl or ring bearer  Besides that, I don't know any other children, but I figure I have a few years for some of my friends or my boyfriend's friends to have kids.
