Has anyone had any experience with planning two different trip in MDE?
I have a trip in 12 days, but I also just booked a trip for May. I want to start adding FP and ADRs for my May trip, but I'm a little afraid that the plans for trip #1 might get mixed up with trip #2 in the MDE system. Has anyone planned 2 trips at a time in MDE with success yet?

I hope someone who knows answers because I have the same question. We have a short trip in September and a big trip in November.

I did this. I went Feb 19-25, had DVC resort reservations, ADRS and FP+ reservations for 9 people all with separate MDE accounts but all linked as family for this trip. Simulataneously I planned a 5 night april trip for just my family of 4, again with DVC resort, ADRs and FP+ ressies that needed to be booked while we were at WDW in February. All in all I'd say its fine - as fine as anything in MDE works:rotfl:

After an initial linking nightmare back in January for the 9 people that took essentially 6-8 hours of calls to the included family members, DVC and Mde tech support to finally insure it was all worked out everything was basically fine. The normal MDE glitches happened, but they happen no matter how many separate trips you have. I am talking about glitches like reservations disappearing for an hour but magically reappearing on their own when I checked later. I have experienced a few glitches, but nothing major where things actually disappeared and not with the frequency that some others have reported. In Feb no one in our party of 9 had a single problem with MBs unlocking rooms, park entry or FP+ access.

And my parents were two of the nine and at one point they had 5 resort stays with ADRs and FP+s ressies (they live in FL). She had 2 nights in Nov, another 1 night in Nov, New years Eve, a January 2 day and finally the February 7 day (she was there longer than me). They never had a single issue.

The one thing I would advise is to always double check what you are modifying. We have some favorites we hit every trip for ADRs. When you look at your full list of reservations, both trips come up, so just be sure if you have any repeats for the two trips you are modifying the correct date.

We had a trip the first week of December, a trip the 3rd week in January, and now another trip next week and none of our ADR's or fp+'s got mixed up. Everything was fine.

FWIW, our MB's from our first trip worked for our second trip. Now we are taking our two sets of MB's from our 1st and 2nd trips with us on our third trip. They should all work fine. :)

I've seen people say this before. What benefit are the old bands? I have my february set still. Should I bring them?

I just returned from my March trip and have a June/July trip booked. I have not had any problems making or cancelling dining reservations for either trip or fastpass + selections on the first trip (second one isn't eligible yet). When you go to make the FP+ selections it will underline the days that are eligible so I guess that helps not get the 2 trips mixed up.

I also had no issues with my October trip and my December trip. They overlapped, and then my December trip overlapped with my upcoming trip at the end of the month.

My FP+ selections and ADRs all worked fine with no problems. :thumbsup2

As PP have stated, I received a different MB for each trip. I plan on having all 3 bands with me on this upcoming trip to use. As long as they are active on your MDE account they all should work the same. ;)

I'm SO glad that some of you have done this successfully!! I have a little more confidence now in making ADRs & FPs:)

For most of us the only benefit to having extra old bands with you is being able to switch out to different colors on different days or having a back up if you lose one. I have read that some have two different MDE accounts with tickets purchased elsewhere and are somehow getting extra FP+ by using two sets of bands, but that doesn't apply to most people and sounds a little complicated to me.

Has any of you who have had 2 trips in MDE used Memory Maker? And if so, how does it know which trip to add it to?

I just loaded my confirmation number in for my second trip and it is showing up in the system!!

This has been our experience as well. Have had up to 3 trips being planned at a time, and everything worked well. As the PP stated, we used all MB's interchangeably, and had no issues with planning FP+ for different trips.

YUP, Feb and April with MB and ADRs in both for different people, 2 first trip, 4 upcoming at same time. No issues!

Same here! February trip for Princess Half Marathon and March trip in the works at the same time. No problems with MDE or magic bands. Just ordered AP magic bands, so by the time we leave for our end-of-March trip, we'll have three sets. I'm bringing old ones just so that I can change bands based on what I'm wearing.
