I have an AP and DDE card that expire in January 2006. I'm taking my son and D-I-L to WDW in Sept, but due to the free dining opted to pay rack rate and bought three 7 day MYW tickets with pluses. Once down there I'll use my AP, keeping my 7 day MYW ticket to use next spring, as I do not plan on renewing my AP.
I'll be going back in Dec using my AP to get the 'Best Rate Plan' for my room and using my DDE card for meals.
I'll be going back in May and hopefully be taking my GD who will be 9 y/o at the time. I would like to have our meals paid for before we arrive, so my question has to do with the Dining Plan. I'll already be paying rack rate (since my AP would have expired). I'll have my 7 day ticket, with pluses to use. Can I buy us each a 1 day base ticket, (upgrading hers to an 8 day MYW ticket with pluses to match what I would then have, when we get down there), and still get the dining to cover the length of our stay or was the deal to buy a 1 day ticket and get MYW dinining for the length of stay just for the free dining promotion offered for the fall? Also as a 9 y/o she would stll be considered a child right?, so it would cost us 35.00/day for me and $10.00/day for her to get the dining plan? I guess I'm asking if it's possible to book a room at rack rate for 7 nights, buy two 1 day base MYW tickets, and still be able to pay for the dining for the length of stay (for next spring).
