We're planning a trip Thanksgiving week and interested in hearing from others planning on going that week. Trying to decide where to have Thanksgiving dinner and wondering how much of the Christmas decorations will be up in the parks and resorts.

We arrive on Tuesday and leave the Monday after Thanksgiving. I am still waiting for the November hours to be posted (May). I do not think we will go to MK on Thanksgiving Day to tour but I do want to have dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern that evening. Call me traditional! My DS will be 6 so I think he will enjoy the characters. I am glad you started this thread!

I to will be joining you during Thanksgiving week. We will be arriving on Monday Nov. 24th and leaving Fri Nov.28th. I just put a thread on the resort forum, we would like to do the Mickey's Backyard BBQ, but they only do it on Thurs and Sat... trying to find out if they would still do it on Thanksgiving?! If not, we will be going to either Libery Tree or 50's Prime Time.. i heard they have Thanksgiving dinner as well... and it would be "mom" serving us - haha. We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside.

We're thinking about Thanksgiving Day dinner at Liberty Tree also....sounds like we need to get our ADR'S early!

Hi fellow November trip takers!!! We are going Nov 23-28 staying at the GF. I think we are planning Thanksgiving dinner at 1900 Park Fare with an early seating. I think we will laze around the resort until dinner, go to MK later!:upsidedow

:tinker: Count our extended family in! :thumbsup2

We're very excited to be going with our adult chilren, IL's, and lots of sweet grands. Flying in on Nov 22 thru Nov 29 and have 6 rooms reserved at Shades of Green. Not sure what we're doing for TG dinner yet, but we voted to do something very laid back, yet fun for the children that day. :goodvibes

All the anticipation of countdown, planning and shopping is proving to be lots of fun and can't wait to see Disney throught our grands eyes. :lovestruc

From all I've read lots of Christmas decorations will be up. That really doubles the pleasure! :goodvibes
