Planning Session

Is anyone able to have a planning session? Or is it just Wishes Weddings? I'm looking at an Escape Vow Renewal.

Also how far out do people have them? I'm visiting Disney in November 2009 and this will be the last visit before the VR in March 2013. Is it possible to check certain things out this far in advance? Such as locations, Francks (I've heard of and some pics look great!).

Technically only Wishes weddings get planning sessions.

But believe me, Disney has the process down pat for planning weddings and the Escapes are usually much easier.

You can definitely check out locations because the locations for the Escape packages are all at various resorts. The only one that might be a bit more "difficult" is the Pavilion and only because you won't be able to go in if there is a wedding. For the other locations, you can walk by anytime.

You can definitely call and ask the folks at DFTW about checking things out but I wouldn't mention how far out you are. There are just too many potential changes between now and 2013 (the packages change at least a little nearly every year).

For planning purposes, you can get the ball rolling at 1 year out (the Pavilion can only be booked 8 months out for the Escape).
