Planning Session Question

Hi Everyone! I won't be going to my planning session until sometime in August/September, but I was wondering what the limit was on how many people you can bring to the planning session. Obviously, DF and I would be there, but I also wanted to bring along my mom and moh.

I believe you can have 2 more people besides the bride and groom.

We talked about bringing people with us but in the end decided against it because we didn't want to add too many opinions to the mix.

We are having ours on August 1st! I can't wait.

Skylarr is correct. My information says you can bring guests (up to a party total of 4). Have fun!

when you originally called, did you plan your planning session right away? Or did you just tell them the date you wanted?

After I signed my contract and got assigned a planner she asked me to send her a few dates that I would like to have my planning session and then she said she would check her schedule. We went back and forth a little and found a date that worked for us both.

Do you have a planner?


You need to schedule a planning session. If it is just a site visit you are talking about (to visit locations to see where you want to hold the wedding) then you will be fine calling a week or 2 ahead of time and setting it up. If you mean an actual planning session with a tasting and choosing flowers etc. then you have to go through your planner.

Planning sessions can only be done 4-6 months prior to the event.

they will only do planning sessions about 6 months out from your wedding. You might be able to schedule one at 7 months, but you won't get your BEO until 6 months out.

My planning session is this Friday and they told me the max 4 people, so its me and DF and my mom and dad
