So I have a planning session appointment on March 6th at 1:00 PM. What should I bring with me? What ideas should I have prepared? :surfweb:

Bring a copy of the questionnaire they send you (even though you will have returned it to them by then), and bring lots and lots of pictures! It makes it so much easier to show them what you want.

If you have an inspiration board, a pic of your dress - even paint chips with your colors - any of that would be very helpful.

Also bring a list of any questions you still have at that time. And, if you have specific cake flavors/fillings you want to try, you need to request them beforehand.

Good luck with your planning session.... It's sounds like you are well on your way to planning a beautiful wedding. :santa:

Like the PP said, we brought pics of my dress (they'll make your DF leave the room if you want him to) and pics of the BM dresses. I also brought a swatch of the BM dress and let them have it so they could match the flowers to the right color. The only other thing I really brought was pics of different floral designs I liked. We worked w/ Laura Kidd and then she took the different pics and combined the ideas into beautiful bouquets! You'll have a wonderful time and, for us at least, it was very little stress!

Oh - we also did a tasting session and so we had told them the foods we wanted to try beforehand.

We had a phone meeting first - maybe two or so months before. Before the phone meeting I made alot of screen prints of pictures I found on these boards - centerpieces, bouquets, flower wands, etc. and put it them in a word document and emailed it to them. This way at the phone meeting they could actually see what we were interested in.

As we got more into planning I also made pictures of my dress, my BM dresses, and many other things and would email it down to them. This way when we went for our session they had a really good idea of what we wanted.

I brought lots of inspiration pictures for centerpieces, colors, just different decorations I was thinking of. I also brought a pic of my dress and my MOH's dress. Rose the florist had a large book of different ideas too. The planner will pretty much go through a checklist of everything you can possible imagine and ask you how you want to do things, who you designated to do what, like announcers or someone to hand out programs, things like that. I brought my things but I didn't really need to use them. Disney is very well prepared. :thumbsup2

I just got back from my planning session. :-) It was on Monday. It was SO much fun!! I was really nervous and wasn't sure what to bring, but they made it so easy! I just brought pictures of different things that I like.. centerpieces, cakes, flowers and anything else that I ran across. That really helped Laura with seeing what I liked as far as floral arrangements and decor. I would highly recommend bringing any type of swatches from your gown, bridesmaid gowns, ties, etc. Laura was really grateful that I brought them and said they help tremendously! It's really easy and they made it so stress free. It was great!

Thanks guys! You're all such a great help! So I guess I'll bring pictures of the dresses, swatches of the dresses, pictures for inspiration, as well as a copy of the questionaire. If anymore suggestions pop up, let me know. Thanks girls!! :goodvibes
