Planning Session Dates

My planning session in January 3rd!!

I emailed Meri today to try to schedule our session either Feb 1-Feb2. Of course I always get the out of office reply.

I just got the confirmation from Meri. Our planning session will be 2/1/07 @1:30pm. YEA!

June 11, 2007 - We haven't bought plane tickets yet, but we're on the calendar! I've got SO much to do before then - I haven't picked out a dress or even a bridal party! I am freaking out!

I see that every one does tastings
when you have a custom how do they know what foods you want to taste. Can you only select from a certain group or do you fill out a form before hand so they know.

also same for flowers do you gie them a rough idea or do you look at samples.

also with your bouquet do you ever get to see it before your weding??

For the menu tasting your planner sends you a form with the items from your reception location's kitchen that apply to your type of menu and you mark off what you would like to taste.

I am not sure about the floral questions.

thank you i cant wait, i was wondering if anyone had a sample from the boardwalk

Hi Karen!

We are going March 4-8 with our planning session on the 5th. I'm so excited, I can't hardly wait!

Depending on who your Disney Floral Manager is, you show them examples of what you want and they sometimes bring a portfolio of their work to show you photos of similar items.

With Disney Floral, I'm pretty certain that the only way you can actually see a mock-up of any of your floral (centerpieces, bouquet, etc.) is to pay for the mock-up separately. Since the cost associated with these items can be high, not too many people ever have mock-ups made (they'd be the exact same cost as the 'real' wedding day one). I have a friend who was uncertain about her centerpiece containers, so she arranged to see a mock-up on her Planning Session trip. Basically, Disney will let you see whatever you want in advance - for a price. :)

Btw - I finally booked my planning session & menu tasting - they will be Friday 5/11/07!

I feel ya! We were engaged in August of 2005, but due to my sister's wedding being in April of 2006, we had to wait until July 2007. It was a LOOOOONG wait! However, I got into this comfortable 'we have lots of time' frame of mind and now it's like 'oh my gosh, we only have 5 more months!'

I dont have a planning session but I will be in WDW from Feb.24-26th!!!
