Planning September trip when is best time to go?

Hey guys i am planning a trip for this September but i am not sure when is the best time to go? My big problem is i know they shut down Space Mountain and The Haunted Mansion for the holiday change over but when does Disneyland typically do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated !! Jim

I'm new as here too welcome! I lived in Southern California for 45 years so I think I can help on your question. I remember the holiday changes by mid September and it is usually a couple weeks prior to the start of the Halloween party..

You should ask on the Disneyland board; this is the board for Walt Disney World.
