I've posted on here becuase I'm planning a Birthday treat for my DW (turning 40!) to Washington DC (and didn't know if i'd get told off for posting on trip planning if it's strictly for WDW - hoping to go back August 2010 but it might be 2011 which is really depressing!!).

Anywho! Booked UC seats on Virgin - we're leaving July 25th.

1) The seats in UC are like individual "pods". Now for the two of us, is it better to have two window seats (one behind the other) or two side by side (becuase they don't really look side by side!!!!)

2) I'm scared of the club house at Heathrow - i'm very intimidated by the thought (but also excited). I realise that this is not a question but an observation I would like to share. I understand that everything is "free" but I'm worried i'd be scared ordering anything in case it isn't free and a bacon sandwich costs me £40!!!!!!

3) I've paid £16.50 per person for transfers to hotel and back to airport - is this likely to be a bus? If so would getting a Taxi be cheaper or better (if not cheaper?)

4) Is there a club house equivalent at Dulles or do you use the regular lounge?

Ok - that's it for now!!!

Thanks for all your help and advice!

To start with the Heathrow Clubhouse is fab, do pre book a treatment for both of you, they are well worth it. Also pack a swimsuit incase you are delayed and able to use the jacuzzi :teeth: The food is all free plus drinks as well. There was a nice little area by the pool table in 2006 with 500ml water bottle and all sorts of sweets to help yourslef to :)

Not sure about Dulles but will let you know about LHR CH as we are in there in June :)

BTW where did you book your transfers? I still need to book ours :confused3

I cannot help with the questions but just wanted to say what a lovely thing to do and I hope you both have a fantastic time.:goodvibes
