Hi Everybody!

Where do I begin. The words OMG  and HELP  seem to fit the bill.

Very briefly. My wife says: "Let's go to DLP". Me (45 year old dad), mum and 7 year old Niamh are off to DLP on Saturday (3 days time!!).

Now I come to look at it I am just staggered by the size and choice available, whilst your there.

We are staying at the Disneyland Hotel and would be REALLY greatful for some guidance on where to go, where to eat and what to see. :goodvibes

I guess like most little girls, she loves all things Princessy and hates wild rides (a bit of a wuss like her dad! :) )

Can anyone help me out with a bit of guidance for the Sat, Sun and Monday we are there. The list of questions is endless, but I guess for you more experienced visitors there will be some obvious things to do in such a short stay?

Either direct experience or links to other threads that may help to make our stay fab would be much appreciated.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks

Ian

If your daughter loves all things princessy, why not do the Princess dinner at the Auberge? It is expensive, but for princessy girlies it seems a must! http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1218528

It would also recommend Peter Pans Flight, Its a Small World, etc for her as far as rides go... The Snow White ride is meant to be a bit scary for younger kids, but it depends on what your daughter likes. Also, a good look round the Castle is a must!!

If your daughter likes characters I would also recommend a meal at Cafe Mickey: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=14411106#post14411106 We ate here and loved it!!

Also, just take it easy!! Its meant to be fun!! Although, I can hardly talk, I have trips planned down to every detail! Lol!!

Hope thats helped a little bit!

Best bit of advice I can give anyone going for the first time, is walk with your eyes open.

There is so much to see, so much to take in and so many tiny details that add to the whole experience people miss as they are running to the next ride or dashing off somewhere.

If you can get to a book shop in next couple of days i'd recommend Brits guide to Disneyland Paris. Its a must have book, i've been 6 times and still at least look through the latest version before i go. The money off at planet Hollywood comes in useful as well if you fancy eating in there.

How are you travelling there?

:wave2: Welcome!

I would agree with Bob about the Princess meal at Auberge, you may need to pre-book as it can get very busy.

Fantasyland is great for the magical non-thrill rides :goodvibes Also im sure your DD will love the shows, there is a Sleeping Beauty show that im sure she will love.

Also another tip make use of EMH as your get alot of rides done in them 2 hours before the park opens for non hotel guests.

I hope you have a magical trip :wizard:

Hi All

Thanks for that, you have saved my life!

Got my list together and even phoned in and booked the Auberge and Cafe Mickey!

Think we've got plenty of ideas now to explore.

Thanks for your help and wisdom. :flower3:

See you there!

Ian
