Purely hypothetical question :rolleyes1

If we were to book for next year during the free DDP dates (for DH, myself and DS) could we add DD at a later stage if she decided to join us? I realise she couldn't have the free dining, that would not be a problem as she eats like a sparrow and we'd just pay OOP for her meals or share, but if she could get a flight and park tickets at a later date, could she be added to our room or would she need to book another room of her own?

based on my experience, she could be added to your room...
it's possible that you'd have to pay a bit more to have 3 "adults" in the room (you, DH and DD) but it would be a small amount...(that is, depending on how old DD is)...

i've done this before...my daughter and i stayed at the GF 2 years ago and my sister joined us after about a week for 3 days....i had no problem adding her to my room..
and every year we stay at the OKW for part of our stay and during that time, my mom comes down for a few days....we have no problem adding her in during that time..

but we never have a dining plan...just the room...

Do Disney make a charge for 3rd Adult? I did not know this, Stay offsite and all rooms we have booked are per room upto 4 adults.

i can't recall.......i'll try looking it up...
we don't usually have more than 2 adults (since my kids reached their mid-teens, we've always taken either 2 rooms or a suite/villa...
