Our coordinater Maxine got intouch with us this week and said our planning packet would be sent later this week. Well needless to say it's thursday and still no info. Maybe I'm just too excited to get it!

She said it's a bunch of links? I was expecting a packet in the mail.

Can someone fill me in to what exactlly it is that I'm so anxiously waiting for?

It's not like just the Wish book is it? B/c I've gone through all that stuff, they aren't very specific with items on there, I was hoping for more info.

Someone help!

They may be running a bit behind with the holdiay and all, and I've heard that a lot of the WP's and their assistants do 'catching up' stuff on Fridays. I know that I was driving DF nuts wanting to check my e-mail constantly when we were waiting for the info packet to arrive.

If you told your WP to send the info by e-mail, you should get an e-mail from your WC or his/her assistant with a bunch of planning pages and files. Some if it is stuff like the cosmetology list, officiant list, etc that are available on wishbook. Most of it though is a bunch of worksheets with infomation they will need and decisions for your to make about your big day and any other events you wish to have. They will also send in the regular mail a list of the cake selections with a powerpoint presentation on a CD. If you are having your ceremony at the Wedding Pavilion, they should also include a second CD with the organist samples (they are just 10-30sec clips of popular selections).

If you told your WC regular mail, then all the information pages and files you'd have otherwise gotten in e-mail format would then be included in the envelope with the cakes and CD's.

HTH

Thanks so much. I looked up some threads on it and each one seemed to be different. Now I at least know what to expect! :yay: THANKS!

My WC didn't specify which way she would be sending it. I hope it's through regular mail :)

Yes, the previous poster is right -- information packet and menus, etc in the email and then two cd's in the mail.

I just wanted to also say that I know they have A LOT of weddings on 7.7.07 (Saturday) so they might be busy preparing for that too.
