I love the new countdown! I really do think you will love the Poly...it is a perfect honeymoon resort. When we stayed there in May, I never got the chance to try Tonga Toast. But I definitely enjoyed most everything else on your list. I can't remember if you are pre-purchasing the Photopass cd or not, but we were able to find a photopass photographer in the lobby one afternoon. Something to keep in mind! We also loved being able to walk to the TTC. The Poly really is a great location

We normally don't do the PP, but I'm thinking we probably should for the honeymoon. I feel like, since we'll be there so long, we can really get our money's worth. Plus, that 's definitely a trip that I want to have lots of together pictures of. I'll definitely keep an eye out for a photographer at the resort.

Great countdown! The Poly is so beautiful, I'm looking forward to exploring it more in a few weeks, I'd love to stay there someday! I'd love to watch Wishes from the Poly beach one night, that must be amazing! And that pool looks amazing!

Great list! The Poly is a resort I would LOVE to stay at sometime, I've only ever eaten there. Can't WAIT to read all about your honeymoon in eight months or so!

Glad you planning for the wedding is going well and you are coming under budget on a few things....that is always exciting.

Love the new update and countdown for 8 months! The Poly is so pretty and watching Wishes form the beach is so much fun. As for the resort hoping we did that often staying there also. We even went to GF just to have lunch and be able to sit outside and look at the Castle from there. Speaking of which that is a fun thing to do at the Volcano pool is to be able to see the Castle from the pool!

Thank you! I think we'll really enjoy the opportunity to resort hop with the monorail. I'm always so interested to see what the other resorts are like.

Yes, I was just a child when I stayed at the WL. I can't remember how old I was exactly. Eight, maybe? I'm not sure when it opened.

Thank you! I consider myself very lucky to have a FI who loves Disney as much as I do. Hopefully when your DBF sees it in person he'll fall in love! I think so many people think Disney is only for kids.

The next 8 months will just FLY! Mmm, dole whips! I personally recommend just the ice cream, not the float. I think adding the juice (float) is way too sweet-- just a personal recommendation!

I've been planning on just the ice cream - I'm glad to know I won't be missing anything by not getting the float. The float just seems so...messy?

just got back from our vacation trip to WDW!!!!!! It was awesome, but do not anticipate a TR started till later this week or into next week! LOL

I tried the pineapple flavor dole whip and it was scrumptious!!!!!! Tonga toast is yummy too!!! We had great food at all the places we ate at
your top 8 is great!!!! Makes me sad that I am no longer at the most magical place on earth anymore though LOL

I thought our trips might overlap a bit! There are so many DISers going during that time! We cannot wait for the Poly! We're excited to get to go over there for our O'Hana ADR on our upcoming trip just to spend some more time there.

1 MONTH UNTIL OUR NOVEMBER TRIP!

Out of my monthly countdowns, this is definitely the one I was most looking forward too! One month from today we will be in Disney soaking up all of the holiday beauty - we can't wait!

I thought for this countdown I would share something that I know is one of the most important things to any DISer planning a trip...the trip binder!

Unfortunately I didn't have as much time as I would have liked to work on my binder, but it will serve its purpose. If you'd like to see an amazing holiday themed trip binder, check out Katie's (BippityBoo) PTR!

Here's the cover of the binder. I found the design on the Creative DISigns board. I believe the DISer who designed this is Millypie? I forgot to write it down! I just pasted it into a word document and used my Disney font to make a title. Simple!

In case you can't read them very well, the sections of the binder are:
Park Hours/Itinerary
Resort Info.
Confirmations
Daily Plans
Receipts

Here's the spreadsheets in my Park Hours/Itinerary section:

In my Resort Info. section I've got things like a map of POR and a list of important phone numbers for the resort.

The Confirmations section has all of the printouts of my email confirmations for our resort and ADR's, along with a spreadsheet listing them all.

The Daily Plans section details what we hope to accomplish each day/where we'll be going/what we'll be eating, etc.

And finally, I decided a Receipt section might be nice. I'll admit that I am not good about keeping up with receipts. Each of the section dividers has a pocket so I'm planning on using that to hold all of my receipts. Maybe I'll make some sort of spreadsheet where I can list all of the purchases I made for the day, too. I also included my food budget spreadsheet to keep us on track.

So there's my November trip binder! I guess it's about time to start working on the binder for the Disneymoon!

Love the binder! I wish I could make spreadsheets like that, but I cannot figure it out on my Mac...well, I figured out how to make one, but it wants to print out on 4 pages! So I have to type everything up in lists!
