planning on proposing in 2010

am planning to proposing to my gf in 2010 when we go back to disney i was woundering is the any possability of getting her favourite character to bring her the ring in front of the castle

I JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAS DONE THIS BEFORE AND WHO DID U TALK TO AND IF THERE WAS A CHARGE HOW MUCH WAS IT? THANKS

What a lovely idea - but again I don't know. Are you staying at a Disney hotel - perhaps the concierge could help? Or just ring guest services and see what they say.

Also is her character one that appears at a character dinner or breakfast? If so, i bet you could get them to give the ring while you were eating - I saw Donald hand over Christmas presents to 2 children at AK at the character breakfast there that their mum and dad had given to the server.

To be honest I am not sure they could organise this, but what about booking a character meal and organising it for a character to bring the ring during the meal?

Pop over to the wedding board where you'll get loads of ideas and tips but I'm pretty sure Disney will not let a character give her the ring.

Oh how excisting. DS proposed to me back in '99 at the Magic Kingdom. He waited until the closing finale of the fireworks over the castle and then asked me. My first question was 'Is this a joke?'. We were sat on the concrete benches that surround the statue where Walt is holding Mickey's hand (just opposite the castle). Suddenly we were surrounded by loads of well wishes. It was very romantic and he had picked the most perfect ring and had even asked me dad.
Evere since then on subsequent trips I have never been back to the spot, only so I can say the last time I was there Steve proposed to me.

I dont know if you can get a character in MK but I have seen a man propose in Main Street to his girlfriend. He got down on one knee and proposed at the entrance of Main Street with the castle in the background. It was very romantic and the photographers where they taking lots of photos of them.

Who is her favourite character? Dependant on which one it is, if it is one at a character meal I would be inclined to do that. You could order a cake and ask them to ice it with "will you marry me" on it and they could bring out the ring.

i would imagine it might be possible at a character meal ( cinderella's royal table springs to mind)
