Planning... Oct. 2008... where?

Ok Fellow DVCers!!
Looking at another trip from Oct 12-18, 2008.
I need a 2 bdrm.... at 7 months out... where (which DVC) do you think I'll be able to find a room at?

My guess would be SSR or OKW as they are the biggest. We easily got a 2-bedroom Boardwalk view calling day-by day at 7-months out for our last trip that just ended on Oct 2nd. But, the F&WF had just started and it wasn't too busy yet. Good luck with whatever you choose!

I would think you would have good success at BCV, I would reserve a 2brdm at you home resort (or be happy with SSR/OKW) asap after the 11 month. But at the 7 month I have always had luck with BCV because the point value is so high(compared to BWV-std view/OKW/and even SSR). I would think you would want to be close to Epcot for Food and Wine.

Food & Wine is the reason that you might NOT have success at BCV. The Epcot based resorts are the most popular at that time of year as F&W has really gotten to be a travel destination event.

Again, reserve at your home base at 11 months, try for BCV right at 7 months, and use the waitlist. The earlier on the waitlist, the better your chances are.

We've never had a problem getting into BCV or VWL at the 7 month mark. I usually call day by day though.
