HELLO!
WELCOME TO MY PRE-TRIP REPORT!
A MAGICAL TRIP IS IN THE MAKINGS!
SO COME AND JOIN THE FUN!
:welcome:
Hi!! First of all, I'd like to thank you for taking time to read all of my silly Disney ramblings. I'm really glad you decided to visit this thread!
But who am I, exatcly?
I'm Elyse! Hi! :goodvibes
I am thirteen years old, and Disney has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. The movies, the music, the characters, and the parks are really special to me. My dream is to work at Walt Disney World for a little bit, and make a career in travel and tourism.

Some of my Disney favorites:
Favorite Movie: Moana, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Tangled, Aladdin.
Favorite Pixar Movie: Cars (I know,I'm weird), Finding Nemo, Toy Story
Favorite Ride: Space Mountain, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Haunted Mansion, Soarin'.
Favorite Restaurant: Via Napoli
So that's me in a nutshell.
But enough about silly me! I HAVE A DISNEY TRIP COMING UP IN MAY!! And I consider that to be pretty exciting, so let's get on with this Pre-Trip Report, shall we?

My family will be staying at the beautiful, extravagant, elegant...
DISNEY'S GRAND FLORIDIAN RESORT AND SPA! Which happens to be my favorite resort, and possibly my favorite place in the whole wide world. My family has been staying here since I was a child, and it has such a magical feel for me.
We'll be in Disney World from May 5-11, six magical days full of fun!
I hope you choose to follow along as I plan out our adventures!
HAVE A MAGICAL DAY! GOODBYE! pixiedust:

A note before I close out this little update:
The DIS won't let me insert pictures. I tried to put one of the Grand Floridian and I clicked the picture icon, then copied and pasted the link. Picture was nowhere to be seen. Help?

Hi everyone! Hope you're having a lovely day! I'll be doing a rough outline of my Disney trip. Should be fun.
Friday, May 5
Wake up at some ridiculously early time. Oh, well. I won't mind.
I LOVE TRAVEL DAY. It's sometimes exhausting and stressing, but nothing beats flying away and knowing that you can enjoy Disney without a care in the world. Unless you're late for your ADR. :sunny: Our plane will land sometime in the late morning, and we'll be at the Grand Floridian before lunchtime. My family and I will then take the monorail over to the MAGIC KINGDOM!
Ah, the monorail. Just the other day I was standing in the hallway filled with sixth graders with my friend and I was like "Aww, small kids." and said friend who was just in Orlando a couple of weeks ago goes "I love how the guy on the monorail at Disney World tells you to take small children by the hand." I then began rambling (I do so A LOT. Be warned), about how much I love the monorail, and how I know the spiel by heart. It was a great moment.
We'll be at the Magic Kingdom. I'll cry and smell the Magic Kingdom air. We'll grab lunch because DISNEY FOOD, and um, I don't want to starve. We'll go on rides and appreciate being at DISNEY WORLD, and probably meet up with my cousins and grandparents.

Saturday, May 6
Be Our Guest breakfast meal this morning. Yummy! Then we'll head to what is probably my second favorite park, Epcot. We'll see the new Frozen ride, and explore the World Showcase and Future World. My main excitement on this day, however, is Soarin' Around the World.
Which we don't have a Fastpass for. Whoop. Enjoy the part of my future trip report in which I complain about the LONG WAIT. Or figure out a way to get around that. Somehow, I will get to Soarin'.
We also have a Via Napoli reservation, but only for some of the family. I'm needy and NEED my amazing Via Napoli cheese pizza. Yum.
Most likely we'll head back to the Grand Floridian and have pool time. I'll also get solo time to walk around the GF and take pictures, which was one of my favorite parts of last trip. We'll relax.
We'll then head over to the Magic Kingdom, or possibly Hollywood Studios. I want to see Fantasmic (for the first time!!), and the Star Wars Fireworks (also a first).

Sunday, May 7
This day is our no park day! I'm actually incredibly excited about this. I'll get to explore Disney Springs really for the first time. I went to Disney Springs last in March of 2016 and all I remember is CONSTRUCTION. Most essential parts of the expansion were built over the summer, and I can't wait to see it all come together. We have a late dinner reservation at the new Paddlefish restaurant. My family previously visited Fulton's Crab House, and want to see the changes done to Fulton's. I also expect some solo GF time for me here too.

Monday, May 8
My little brothers birthday!! Yay!!! For his birthday, we have an Ohana breakfast. My sister happens to LOVE Stitch, and is really excited for this. I am too, because I've never been to Ohana, and have heard wonderful things!
We'll then travel on a magical Disney bus, to Disney's Hollywood Studios! It's my brother's favorite park, and he chose to go here on this day. I'm hoping to meet BB8, because his meet and greet is rumored to debut next month! I feel like it'd be awkward though, Because he's just making beeping noises while you talk...
SPEAKING OF MEET AND GREETS, DOES ANYONE KNOW IF MOANA WILL BE AROUND IN EARLY MAY? She's so inspiring to me, and I LOVE HER, and would be thrilled to meet her. If you have any information, please let me know!!!
Continuing on, we have an ADR at Teppan Edo, a restaurant in Epcot's Japan Pavilion! My brother has been saying that he wants to eat at this place so here we go.I'm not the biggest fan of this type of food, but I will attempt to try something new here.

Tuesday, May 9
Animal Kingdom!!! I'm excited to see Finding Nemo the Musical, and for Festival of the Lion King. I haven't seen Nemo, but I've heard the soundtrack and I have not seen Festival of the Lion King since it moved to its new theater. I'm also excited to see my little cousin's reactions to all the animals. He LOVES animals, and him pointing out all the giraffes (he loves them), is adorable and makes me so happy to see my cousin experiencing the Disney magic. :goodvibes

Wednesday, May 10
I don't want to write about this.
IT'S OUR LAST DAY. :(:sad1::sad::sad2:
I'm gonna be such a wreck.
Just tears. All day. Tears and magic.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR READING THIS UPDATE. I ended it quickly because I have to go to sleep, but I hope you have a nice day! Goodbye!

I'm in for reading another May 2017 PTR! I've got one going on too!! I'm just missing you by a few days... :( We have a lot of similar plans too! Ohana is absolutely amazing, you'll love it!
I've also never seen Finding Nemo the Musical, so I've got that on my plans for this trip! Can't wait to see your plans and this PTR!

Yay! I'll check out your PTR. That stinks we don't have the same dates for vacation. I'm really excited for Ohana and Finding Nemo the Musical! Thanks for reading!!

Hi. It's me.:thumbsup2
Once again. This time, with a quick dining update!
My family has canceled Paddlefish in Disney Springs in place of a reservation at.....
PLANET HOLLYWOOD!
I've heard mixed things, but I'm pretty excited for this one. (Mostly because of the milkshakes....) BUT HAVE YOU SEEN THE MILKSHAKES? They're crazy and huge and generally insane, but I need one. One has a piece of CAKE on top of it, and it's strawberry (I think) and has frosting or whipped cream or SOMETHING coming down the side and a candy stick thing in it. The chocolate one has all sorts of chocolate candies around it, and I believe there's a BROWNIE sticking out the top of it. THE NEXT ONE OH MY GOD IM ORDERING THIS ONE, is BRIGHT BLUE and I have NO IDEA what flavor that is (cotton candy?) and there's red streaks of some syrup flavor going through it, and there's cotton candy and white chocolate covered pretzels on the side and long story short I NEED to get a Planet Hollywood milkshake. Just type "planet Hollywood orlando milkshakes" into google and DIE.
Thank you for reading this ridiculous story ramble type-thing. I have many more. Sometime this week I'll write down stories of random, funny things that have happened to me at Disney World.

Hi!
I'm super sorry for not updating!! No plans have really changed, and nothing much happened in my life. I did see Beauty and the Beast though. I loved it, but there were some parts I thought were sort of unnecessary.
How have your lives been? Don't be afraid to comment! Have a magical day!

LIFE UPDATE
Life is going swell. Easter was nice. I saw my whole family for two days and the next time I'll see them IS IN DISNEY!
We also went on a shopping excursion, including the Cheesecake Factory, dress shopping, and the DISNEY STORE! (Quite obviously my favorite part, especially because there's not one near where I live)
I was wandering around in there by myself for a while, and I watched the How Far I'll Go scene on a little screen they had in there, while the Married Life song from Up was playing and it was perfect. I was so happy. I was looking at stuff in the back at the clearance section, because the last time I'd been to a Disney store (August), there was Disneyland 60th stuff in the back. I looked through and found a WDW 2017 sweatshirt for half off!!! It's so pretty and has all the park icons on it, and I LOVE the 2017 stuff, so I was really happy.
Long story short, always check the clearance section!!!
In other news, I am pretty sure I found a way to get pictures here on the DIS to put in a trip report. I'm really hoping I can get the report done, and maybe include little pieces of other places I may be traveling to during the summer. Would anyone be interested in seeing that?
My life is about to get crazy hectic and busy in the best of ways, but I promise I'll try and update a future trip report when I can!
I've really got most things sorted out for the trip. I just need a little notebook to jot down everything in, and I'll be set. I basically coordinated outfits for each day, and I'm just really excited!
How have you all been? Have a magical day!!

Hi! I love your Report!!! I'm going at the end of May and staying at the cabins at Fort wilderness. I'm so excited I can't stand it. I love it that you're staying at the Grand Floridian!!! One of our favorite things to do is have breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. It's a must for us. I also think you're gonna love Ohana's. Another favorite !!:fish:

Hi! Thank you for reaching out and commenting! Ooh, I'd love to stay at Fort Wilderness. It looks amazing!
I like 1900 Park Fare and unfortunately we don't have a reservation there this trip. I'm so excited to go to Ohana and experience what everyone loves so much about it!

Hello, all!! Just a quick update today, since no planning has really changed in our trip. We decided that on Tuesday, our AK day, that we will probably go to Nightly Extra Magic Hours at Epcot! Yay!
I figured out the whole issue with my camera, so I'm going to attempt at putting up some pictures from my May 2015 trip? Okay? Here we go!

IT WORKED! YES!! :cool1:The picture is a bit big, but that just means you can stare at the details, right? On a side note, I ADORE this photo.

A bit blurry, but still magical!

LOVE.

I'll be seeing that monorail very soon! Less than two weeks in fact!
HAVE A MAGICAL DAY! Are the pictures working?

HEY EVERYONE!
If there's anyone out there.
*crickets*

Everything for the the trip is coming together and I'm so excited!
I also realized that my pictures didn't work and I have to resize them. Oh well.
Im really excited to start a trip report when I get back! I hope you all will read along!
I also hope you all have an amazing and magical day!!
