The cast includes

princess: ME!! Obsessed Disney fan as long as I can remember. Cant imagine going on vacation anywhere else!!! Favorites are the princesses and Jack Sparrow. Cant go wrong with the classics though (Mickey & Minnie). Love Everything Disney, and love the parties. Favorite passtime includes planning outfits to wear, and taking photos of our trip.

pirate: DS Peyton. 4 years old. First trip at 5 months old. Loves all things Pirates and Knights. Especially the ones that slay dragons

princess: DD Kiera. 2 years old, soon to be 3. True Diva in training and 100% princess. Loves all things princess, and glittery, and dinosaurs. First trip to the world at 8 months old.

princess: DD Jadyn. 2 months old (will be 5 months at the next trip). First trip at 2 months old (we jsut got back from P&P party). A pretty princess in training!!

Off to take the munchkins to bed, then back for more planning details.

This is my first attempt at a planning journal before, so please bare w/ me!!

Let's see. So far, we are going for a long weekend from Friday to Monday in May. I got our reservations, we are staying at the all star sports. I SOOOOO Desperately want to stay at All Star Movies, but they have no rooms in the Florida Res. Discount area, and I dont want to pay full price.

I am checking every couple days online though to see if I can get any!!!! Hopefully something becomes available!!! I know she would be estatic to wake up to see a giant buzz and woody, and dalmations!!!!!!!!! Plus the walk to the pool there would be better. That is the pool they would like going ot anyway!

So far our schedule is this:

Friday= Arrive!!!! Unpack, relax a little. Still working on 'something' to do

Saturday = Appointments for Bibbity Bobbity Boutique @ 9:00. We are getting the Diva Princess Do princess: , makeup and hair done. And DS pirate: is getting the Cool Dude Do for the fun of it. Then off to MK from there for the day!!!!! :cool1:

Calling Daily to get into CRT for lunch, but nothing!! I hope they get an opening!!! Started planning this too late to get reservations I guess. I would so desperately want to take her. She is all princessed up, gets to see the princesses in one spot, and not have to wait in line!!!!!!! That would be sooo awesome.

Sunday =
Breakfast= 9:30 at Cape May Cafe!!!!

POOL DAY!!! Planning on spending the day at the pool and relaxing. Still working on plans for this one!!!

Monday = Wake up for AK for the day. Since this closes early, we plan on going and doing all the things they kids are interested in, and then driving home from there. pirate: would LOVE to do the Dino ride and princess: will be so excited over the lion king show and Nemo!!!

We booked Breakfast at Cape May on Sunday!! I think that will be fun!!! I am going to order a cake as well, as we did this for DS birthday at Chef Mickey's and he loved it!

Anyone have any tips or ideas for our 'days off'??? Especially on arrival day!!! I have no idea what to fill that evening with!!

If you want to eat with the Princesses you could try booking one of the character meals at Restaurant Akershus in the Norway pavilion at Epcot. We went there for breakfast last year and got to meet Belle, Snow White, Jasmine, Mary Poppins and Mulan! My DD6 was over the moon :cloud9:

I'm interested in hearing about your visit to the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique at DTD. I'm sure my DD would like to do this on her next visit to WDW!

YEAH!!! I VISITOR!! I will definately do a post report w/ photos and everything!!! I am a photo-aholic!!! :lmao:

I am thinking of maybe doing the kitchen sink ice cream at CBR the night we get there.

I think the kitchen sink ice cream dessert is only available at Beaches & Cream which is located at the Beach Club. It wasn't available at CBR when we stayed there, although that is a long time ago now! :scared1:

You are 100% correct, my typo!! I always get confused about places. I just tell DH "that place w/ that big ice cream" and he remembers!!

Any suggestions for after breakfast w/ characters??? We are going to hang out at the pool for a while. Kids LOVE that!! But we cant do a WHOLE day at the pool, I will go crazy! And we will have to eat sometime!

What about a park visit? I see you're going to MK on Saturday and AK on Monday. MGM might be good for a visit on Sunday. My DD loves The Little Mermaid show there and there's a Playhouse Disney show too. Not many good dining options though. We've only been to H&V and Sci Fi Diner. For counter service, we found Backlot Express was ok. Or maybe try for an ADR at one of the hotel restaurants? And of coure, Fantasmic will be on at MGM in the evening!

Wish we lived near enough to do weekend trips!

I wish we could. If I told DH we were doing another park, he may divorce me!! We go so frequently we spread the cost acrossed. We used to go once a year, then we moved to FL last March (south florida), and we have been 4x in a year. We would go more, but I was Pregnant and now we have an infant. I think next year we are doing the annual passes.

Working on our Animal Kingdom Day right now:

Animal Kingdom

  • Arrive alittle early for park opening ceremony
  • Go to the first Lion King Performance
  • Immediately go to the first pocohantes performance afterwards
  • When we come out of the Pocohantes show, Lion King will be going on again, so hopefully the character meet n greet area will be less busy
  • Head up to the tree of life to see the bugs life
  • DS wants to do the water ride
  • Followed by lunch
  • Spend the rest of the time in Dinoland adn the Nemo show (THEY ARE DINO-HOLICS in this house, we will be there for HOURS). We will pretty much do it all while we are in that area.

DH wants to do Mount Everest, so he can fastpass that and do it himself (I am NOT a roller coaster person).

Sunday ideas:

Well we are doing Cape May Cafe. I was thinking of going to DTD again, for the lego area, and the couple rides that my kids insist on riding every time we go!! Then I think we will go to the pool for a few hours. Dinner is probably going to be Pizza in the room. They really like doing that on "pool day". They think it is awesome!! They call the hotel the "show & tell", I am not sure why, but it makes me laugh every time!! "Mom, are we going back to the show and tell now???" Then I think we will watch the fireworks somewhere and grab some dessert. I am not sure about California Grill or the pier at Grand Floridian yet though for the fireworks. I think the view is better at GF, but California Grill is really nice because you get the music pumped in. HHmmmmmmm. I know either way we cant go wrong, but I just cant decide which one the kids will like better.
