I am reading all of the November 2004 posts and trying to glean what wisdom I can about when to plan our next trip. We visited WDW in November of 2003, during the week before Thanksgiving (we came home the Saturday before Thanksgiving) and it was perfect, both crowd-wise and weather-wise.

Looking at next year's calendar, the same week would fall between November 12 and November 19. But since that is awfully close to Veteran's Day, I'm wondering if the weekend will be more crowded than in 2003. Do you think an earlier week in November would be less crowded? I'm not sure there is a better week. We'd want to avoid the Halloween crowds and it seems that the week of November 5 through November 12 would probably run into the same problem with a crowded Veteran's Day weekend. What week would you choose?

We were there in '98 the week after Veterans' day and it wasn't that bad. Our first trip was first week of Nov '89 and there were no crowds. We just booked SOG for Nov 6-12, 2005. No matter what it won't be as crowded as summer or spring break time. I personally like Nov. because it's not as crowded and the weather is good, with very little rain. '98 we had no rain since it was a drought year. And both times we had temps in the upper 80s' so we could swim.

There's at least one other post on this site about Veterans' day and how it wasn't all that bad. Of course there's the posts about Jersey week too. But I've seen both complaints and raves about that week. I guess it's your perspective. Is there ever a bad time to go to WDW?
