Ok. I've done 2 (almost) complete scrapbooks of 2 WDW vacations. I am planning my 3rd one for our trip that begins in 2 1/2 weeks. I want to plan out the pages and have the book be organized by day. We'll be there for 10 days and I already have 4 pages started. One page is a title page, then I have our itinerary page then a "cast of characters" 2 page layout that pictures all who are going (we're a Grand Gathering).

How do you suggest I organize the picture taking? Has anyone even made a list of what pics you want to take and carry a check list around with you each day? There are certain shots I want to get at the parks and our resort and of course the shots with characters at the character meals we're doing.

But I know we'll take lots of spontaneous shots. Should I write down what I take and when? We have a digital so I could go through them at the end of each day and write down specifics.

I'd love to hear how you plan your books and picture taking! Thank you!!!

I made a list beforehand when I planned on doing my Disney ABC Book (almost done!). I would have been AWFULLY MAD if I got home and found out I was missing one of the letters!!! I checked my list every night to make sure I had every pic I needed!! :cheer2:

Wow! :earseek: I have got to get organized. I never thought about assembling stuff PRIOR to the trip! I am usually just happy to get the pages done when I get home. My goal for my last Disney scrapbook was to get it finished prior to going on my next trip 18 months later.
You are my idols! I've got so much to learn......... :sunny:

I make a list of the MUST have pictures, but thats it. I take so many pictures as it is, DH would scream if he knew I made a list of pics to take. :)

I only write down if there is a shot that I really want but think I'll forget while I'm there. I have been taking pics of all the different garbage cans around WDW, and I will make a list for my next trip on which I have and which I need to get. I have most of the MK's.

Disneyfreakjackie, I love your ABC album! I haven't had a desire to do one as I had recently done an 8 X 8 book on the Mickey statues, but looking at yours makes me want to try one!

Hey DFJ! I've been looking at your ABC albums and WOW! There are such neat ideas in there! I especially liked the vest/shirt out of paper to match Woody's. :teeth: Very clever idea!

On the "P" page - what font did you use with the filmstrip? Does each letter come "inside" the film? Or was the computer font on another LO?

Oh - and I keep forgetting to ask...have you ever used the punched out letters instead of the negative space? (Your DD used the negative space on her Goofy frames for the Everything Else swap.) I used those letters on my paper piecing for the Ride swap and had a terrible time! Glue stick was too annoying...the letters stuck to the Xyron clear plastic...tape runner was too wide... :headache:

I ended up saying lots of bad words before it was all done! :rotfl2:

DFJ I LOVE your album!! I have the same question about the filmstrip on the P page

did you o Y & Z yet? Y can be "Y? because we like you" from the Mickey mouse theme song :goodvibes
