I like to start planning for Christmas early, so I decided to look for our Christmas theatre trip and saw that Annie was on in Leicester.:) Eldest DD is adamant that she doesn't want to go and youngest is too young, so it's me, middle DD and MIL. 6 rows from the front, right in the centre, 28th December. All together now, 'It's a hard-knock life...':goodvibes

Is anyone else planning stuff for Christmas now?

Oooh I love Annie. Have fun. :goodvibes

I booked our Panto tickets a few weeks ago.

Sounds like fun, enjoy the show Juliette ::yes:: I can honestly say I haven't made any plans for this Christmas :santa:

I always treat my family to a theatre trip as an xmas pressie- we love it - about 12 of us girls go. is Annie on at the curve?

:scared1: i am surprised! :lmao:

Yes I too am planning Christmas, I have started my shopping and been checking to see what I am working etc!
Annie sounds great !

a trip to Spain - we were told yesterday that our offices are closing between xmas and new year so no arguing who has to come in.

No !!! because its only august :rotfl2:

I know Nat, I'm a bit late this year.:rotfl:

Same here. I'd rather spend money on a theatre trip than the plastic junk they pick from the Argos catalogue.;) Annie is on at the De Montfort until 31st Dec. It was either that or Matilda the Musical at the RSC with half price kids' tickets. The MIL loves Annie and DD thinks she is Annie, so it was a no-brainer.:rotfl:

we dont have any plans either, we havent had a family get together for a while so may do one this year or next year. :goodvibes

I have booked tickets for me and our GS for a children's Christmas concert at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall. There are going to be reindeer outside before and after the concert.

In the next day or so I am going to book tickets for Thomas the Tank Engine at Llangollen during the Christmas school holidays or thereabouts.

I'll be buying the Christmas cards soon and getting those ready.

I haven't done any present shopping yet though.

I'm not looking forward to this Christamas as I hate having to pick where we are going to spend it. Plus its a big birthday this year

We spend it at home and have people drop in. I have a rather big birthday this year too. Apparently life begins at 40, or so I'm told. I'll let you know.:rotfl:

We are planning a quiet Christmas, we wont back from Florida until the 21st December - and Henry has to get straight back to work :headache:

We are setting a £20 budget for Christmas presents as we need to save the money for the wedding and party we are having after Christmas!

That was like us, we got married on the 5th but didnt get home until the 22nd. (Came back to water pouring through our ceiling too :lmao:)

I did all my xmas shopping in August and Sept that year and got everyones presents online so it looked like i'd spent more than i had :rolleyes1

Fortunately for us DH's family always have all the family down on boxing day so apart from a quick trip to see his parents on xmas morning we get to spend xmas day with my parents and then boxing day with his family :goodvibes

We spend it at home and have people drop in.

I wish we could do that but my (divorced) parents are in the North West. All DH's family are in the South East. And we are not quite in the middle.

I saw that book earlier and it's adorable, I wanted one for me! ;)

I started my shopping earlier in Costco, I'd seen Buzz Lightyear and Tinker Bell swimming costumes in there and just had to pick a couple up for my nephew and niece for Christmas - they're so cute! Buzz Lightyear board-shorts :lovestruc
