Planning for 2016

Been home five days and having withdrawal symptoms. Starting to plan for 2016. I hope everyone who has yet to travel has a magical vacation.

Where did you stay, and what were the highlights of your trip?

Any idea what's on tap for next year?

This was a non-park vacation. We don't even stay in the same place for the whole vacation, kinda like gypsies. Just my husband and I. We spent five nights on St Pete beach, just relaxing, shopping and doing local stuff. The highlight for us was when our son and grandsons came down to go to a hockey game with us. They are huge hockey fans, game ended in a shoot out so it was exciting to see their reaction. We spent five nights in Orlando where we met with them again and did a swamp tour, Wild Florida, very worthwhile. We also did go carts with an arcade package. These boys are not huge park fans, they don't do rides. Downtown Disney was a must and it is going to be amazing when they finish the work. We also did an overnight trip to St Augustine, it is a nice place to visit, the tours are very informative. We did have a Disney dinner booked but had to cancel, ran out of time, it was a fantasmic pack, and it rained so no loss.

Next year we plan to overlap our vacation with our oldest son and his family, so other than a hockey game and beach time we don't have any definite plans, but will wait to see what our sonlans.

Nothing wrong with planning ahead Once I get back from a trip I always like to start planning the next one, no matter how far off. Heck, we haven't even travelled yet this year (not until end of September) and I'm already planning our next trip after that one for August 2016 lol

LOL! That sounds completely familiar. I'm plotting my return while I'm still there!
