I know this is WAY in advance, but we are thinking of heading to Orlando during March of 2008 (Spring Break)...we have been twice, and both times have been in October, which we love. Is it going to be crazy busy during the week of March 10-15 (just an example, not sure what the actual days will be next year) and what are the onsite rates now? We stayed at the Royal Pacific in 03, and upgraded to Club Level, which was fantastic! I don't know if we could swing the amount it probably will be by next year...we stayed for 5 nights the last time and then moved to WDW, because they were having a special (buy 4, get 3 free)

My other question is, is it still worth it to stay onsite as opposed to getting a nice breakfast inclusive place offsite like Homewood Suites? I know that we sure liked the FOL passes...

Thanks for your help!

That week is Spring Break in Orlando too, so it is quite busy. Not as busy as early April though.

Although you can expect spring break for some areas any time during march or april the rule of thumb for the heaviest crowds is the week before and the week after Easter. In 2008 Easter is early, March 23.

I think your dates would be OK crowd wise. For the most part the real crowds wont be starting until the 15th.

you can book a stay at the loews hotels a year in advance and get the AAA discount. but, you can't get the aph discount that far out. those rates are not released until later dates.
