Planning for 2008.....

My wife would really like to go to Hawaii in July 2008 for our 10th anniversary. My question would be when would you start looking at a II exchange? When should I be thinking about depositing the points to try and make an exchange? I thought I would ask the question as we are new DVC'ers and obviously have never made an exchange.

As a secondary question would anyone have any suggestions for places to stay?

not sure about where to stay, but I would call and be put on a list as soon as you can be added, if you are sure you want to go. I'm not sure of the timeline, but ms would be able to tell you how soon you can be put on the list to book. If you go on the DVC site, you can also look up where you can exchange and many have links to their web sites.
