Planning first WDW trip for Nov-Dec 2016!!!

Hi all,

I am planning a first timers/romantic/Christmas trip for my boyfriend and I (no kids, he's 30-something, I will be 40 by then) for 11/25-12/3, 2016!!! I am so excited!!! (Evidenced by the amount of time spent researching WDW now when we have a Vegas trip and Grand Canyon trip this year!!!) We are SoCal natives and I am currently on my 3rd DL AP, he on his first.

I would like to know what the best resort would be for the "Christmas Spirit".
I was already thinking of staying at CR, but it seems so blah. We could always go for a visit as part of the cocktail/monorail crawl I'm planning! I'm thinking Wilderness Lodge?

Does anyone have input on Disney Vacation Account?

Welcome!!! I really like Wilderness Lodge, I think you will enjoy it. The Grand Floridian is really a beautiful resort. I personally like the Poly, but that is more my taste. Have Fun!!!

Welcome!! I'm a Vegas lover as well. Got married there and had my next 2 anniversaries there as well (baby girl makes it hard to go back). I've been to the Grand Canyon twice...so beautiful! For my money (or lack thereof), I love Prot Orleans Riverside, but I really want to stay at the Poly or AKL.
