We are coming to Disneyland for the first time from Australia and I need some help with the planning.

We will be there from 15-22 Jan with a 10 day pass. We arrive fairly early on the 15th.

In the 8 days we are planning a day trip to Legoland and another day trip to Universal Studios.

We are staying at a Disney hotel so we have access to EMH.

While we are there the Star Wars Run is on as well as a public holiday on the Monday.

Which days would be best for us to do Disneyland, Universal and Legoland. What is the best days traffic wise to do the 2 days trips ( I don't want to get there late as we only have the one day). Will the other parks have days which are quieter will there be days where Disneyland will be so busy we should stay away. I just can't figure out which parks to go to on which days.

Thanks for all your help, we are all very excited!!!!

Do the day trips on the weekends. No rush hour traffic.
Disneyland on weekdays will be lighter and avoid Rush Hour there to.

Thanks Bud Ice.

I will need one weekend day at Disneyland to see WOC and the fireworks. Is all other night time entertainment on daily?

Thanks.

Be aware World of Color closes Jan 19th through Feb 1st so make sure you see it in your first 4 days! Have fun! :)

Unfortunately, at this point, we do not yet know what the schedule will be for PtN once the holiday season ends. Fireworks and Mad T Party are usually only on weekends (Fri to Sun) and WoC is normally nightly (although, as the PP mentioned, it'll be dark from 1/19 to 2/1). Soundsational and Pixar Play Parade (the daytime parades) are usually presented daily.
