Hello friends,

I am less than two weeks out from my trip and ready to book some multi-pass lightning lanes on Saturday. This is a trip for just me and my best friend. My oldest just started college and I am missing him so much. This is just the pick me up I need. We are staying at POP Century with free quick service dining and 4 day park hoppers. We plan to hit the parks hard and will have a car.

Sat 9/7 - 7 am flight, hope to be in Epcot by noon. Will be shooting for VQ for Guardians and have multi-pass LL to help with crowds and late arrival.

Sun 9/8 - all day Magic Kingdom, early hours through close at 6 pm. Dinner at Boma and exploring AKL in the evening. No LL and hoping for Tron VQ.

Mon 9/9 - early hours Animal Kingdom until we are done. Hopping to Magic Kingdom for fireworks. Maybe dinner on the monorail. No plans for LL. Maybe try for Tron VQ at 7 am.

Tues 9/10 - early hours / all day at Hollywood Studios. Will have multi-pass LL. May hop to Epcot later if we want to do more there or explore F&W. Maybe try for Guardians VQ at 7 am.

Weds 9/11 - Flight isn't until 8 pm. Pool day / Disney Springs / shopping and chill

I do have a few questions:
- Would you drive to the parks on Sun or Mon based on our plans and avoid the busses? Parking is free for hotel guests, right?
- If we get a VQ for our late arrival days at MK and EP, what happens if we do not get to the park until later?
- Will Tiana's Bayou still be using VQ? What are our options to ride it?

How does this sound? What am I missing? Any other advice? TIA!!! We cannot wait :flower1:

Sounds like a wonderful trip! I hope you enjoy and that your kid has an amazing college experience.

For the first question, my answer is influenced by the fact that I don't want to be in a car while I'm in WDW. I prefer the provided transportation. I may be in the minority on that, but to me the transportation is part of the experience. So put me in the bus camp. Parking is free for you, though, yes.

If you miss your VQ by more than 15 minutes, you just lose it. Nothing bad happens beyond that.

Have fun!

I also prefer Disney transportation to driving, but regardless, I would bus to MK. If you drive, you will park at Ticket and Transportation. Enter, then walk or tram to security, go thru security, then take ferry to monorail to MK, then walk to entrance and scan in. Much more convoluted than getting off the bus at the bus stops and walking to security and scan in point,

I really have no experience with VQ, but I just want to say good for you for booking a pick-me-up trip. Have a great time with your friend!!
