Hi All,

I'm in the midst of planning a June 2007 vacation to WDW. I'm looking for a rental house, but am pretty sure that we'll be looking at renting two. How do I go about finding homes that are side by side? How large are some of the communities (Indian Creek/Ridge, Windsor Hill/Palms, Rolling Hills, etc)? If I were to rent two random houses are the communities small enough that the homes won't be too far away from each other?

Thanks in advance for any help!

You can out in a general inquiry on many sites and ask for homes close to each other or search by homes on a particular community. The owners will then answer you and you can go from there.
Some sites have sister sites where you can find mulitiple homes on a community- one from each site for each example as they have different homes on each list.
Bear in mind each home will be individual so there may well be a difference in price for each one -even if they seem very similar.

romancingthemouse has 2 homes side by side in Windsor Palms and two side by side in Windsor Hills. We stayed in one of the WH home and LOVED it!

Try romancingthemouse (dot com). The web site is VERY good and professional. There is a picture of just about every room at all 4 houses plus outside, pool views and maps. They have 2 homes in Winsor Hills.........a 4 and a 5 bedroom next to each other. They also have 2 homes in Winsor Palms.......a 4 and a 6 bedroom (the 6 bedroom looks HUGE). Plus the prices are reasonable, the location is VERY close to disney. The owners (Mark and Holly) have been very helpful and accomodating. The pool/hottub heat is included in the price and it is never turned off........so you arrive with a warm pool to swim in! Both communities are gated, but I think that Windsor hills has a "slightly" better/larger pool and ammenities. A lot of there guests are annually returning familys.....that should speak for itself.I did an exaustive research of vacation homes in the area and came up with romancing the mouse. VERY good reviews. I already checked the tax maps, and they are ligit, to put my mind at ease. They also only require a "small" deposit, and wont take full payment untill you arrive, and you are happy with the home.......after they give you some fresh baked cookies!

bvc314.........Which home did you stay in ??? We are staying in the 5 bedroom at Winsor Hills. Never stayed in the 5 bedroom........just wondering. If you stayed at the 5 bedroom.........how did you like it ? Was the pool warm enough?

Hi, I rarely recommend a specific home or owner, but I have owned in Emerald Island and know that these two 7 bedroom homes are side by side in nice culdesac in Emerald Island...they would be perfect for a group of 25..just one idea

Another would be to go to a large rental company like www.villadirect.com and ask them about side by side 7 bedroom homes...I helped a group of 24 Iowa golfers get a house last year when the above homes were full and went right to villadirect and they had homes in Emerald Island with 7 bedooms and lots of bathrooms right next to each other. I would insist on Emerald Island and not any other like Terre Verde as it is a long drive from Disney....nice, but a longer drive.

Hope this helps...let us know if you we can help further...
