Planning a trip for Summer 2012 – I know I’m early, but I like to plan. :surfweb: We are a family of 9 (kids from 3 to 15) and it will be the 1st trip for the youngest 4. I cannot believe it has been almost 10 years since we last traveled to WDW. Making it tougher we have some adventurous eaters and those that would just as well have pizza or a burger at every meal (teenagers!?!?). We will likely do 1 TS per day and probably not breakfast except for last day.

Here’s what I’ve come up with so far.

Day of Arrival: Chef Mickey’s (staying at BLT)
Day 1 (MK) Crystal Palace (lunch)
Day 2 (DHS) Sci-Fi Dinner (lunch)
Day 3 (Epcot) Via Napoli
Day 4 Cinderella’s Royal Table (Dinner) – will be a surprise
Day 5 ??? anyone have a MUST-DO ???
Day of Departure: 1900 Park Fare (breakfast and we’re off)

The order of days may change some, but I had to start somewhere.

As a bit of additional information the kids include 5 girls and 2 boys (both teenagers). So the boys will probably have to suffer through more princess interaction than they realize. :scared1: They chose Sci-Fi and Via Napoli.
When I look at the list the choices seem a bit “obvious” (read boring). But, I know the kids will love the character interaction, and I’m not going to WDW for a gourmet dining experience. I live close enough to New Orleans to get that whenever we want.

Thoughts? Suggestions? :grouphug:

I like your choices...others that I like are....

O'Hanna (Poly)
50s Prime Time (DHS)
Coral Reef (EPCOT)
Rainforest Cafe (either DTD or AK)

Thanks, Cherinva. Actually did 50's last trip and loved it (DW not so much). O'hana is one that really looks interesting to me.

'Ohana for sure. Teppan Edo is also great, but they wouldn't be able to seat you all together (teppanyaki tables seat 8).

I haven't tried it yet, but on my next trip, I want to try Cape May at the Beach Club Resort.

Whispering Canyon -- since you're staying in the vicinity. Quick boat ride from contemporary.

Forgot about Whispering Canyon. Stayed at WLV in 2002 and the kids enjoyed the entertainment (and food). If I remember correctly the only problem was we ate too much! :rolleyes1

If you haven't done Ohana, I think you should try it for dinner.

Your two teenagers will get all the meat they can eat.

Your younger ones get to learn a Hawaiian dance and do other fun things.

And the bread pudding dessert is THE BEST!!!
