Okay guys, we’ve hit a wall!

Myself, my cousin Jordan and my friends Alicia were planning on all going to SoCal next year during Halloween. We had been planning on 7 days in the parks staying at the Paradise Pier hotel for these 7 days. However Jordan can no longer definitely commit to going, so at this stage we are planning and budgeting on just me and Alicia going. This of course pushes the price of accommodation up and staying at the Paradise Pier hotel is going to be a lot more expensive and harder to save for.

To me staying at the Paradise Pier will be invaluable! I’ve always wanted to stay on site and was unable to on my previous (first) visit. I was planning on using the Early Admission scheme every day to our advantage. My question is, if you’ve stayed at the Paradise Pier before, what are your thoughts? And also, would you predict Carsland to have dulled down by this time next year? I’ve heard that it’s crazy busy at the moment!

I want to try and make her first Disney experience an awesome one!

We stay at the Paradise Pier and the Disneyland Hotel. Both are worth the money spent to be on property. We always ride the first monorail into Disneyland to leverage early morning hours, go back to the hotel midway to hang by the pool or nap, then head back to shut down the parks. You'll want to be at the rope drop into Adventureland, get your Indianna Jones fastpass and head right over to Ride Pirates of the Carribean and The Haunted Mansion. At California Adventure, you'll want to be at the rope drop inside the park by the Grand Californian entrance and book it over to the Toy Story ride. We have not been to DL since Carsland opened, so no advise here. Have lots of fun on your trip!

My DH and I love the PPH. We've stayed their twice. If you can try to get a theme park view, its so cool to wake up with DCA beckoning you.
