Planning another magical 5th birthday

That is one heck of a creative to do list. I like my list better.

can't wait to see it all done!!! :thumbsup2

Oh man! :scared1: That is quite a project list! Bestest of luck and don't forget pictures!! :rolleyes1

I know. It's a little overwhelming. At least half of it is jut ironing on something to a shirt. That I should be able to do all in one night! :thumbsup2 I will definitely take pictures!

That's a long to do list, but it sure does sound like a lot of fun! I have so much fun with iron ons--can't wait to see all of them. And I LOVE that you're altering the dress to fit. It's so awesome that Abi believes in the Disney magic still!! That just makes me smile!

I think it will be fun. It is daunting but I do love sewing. And crafting. So, it will be good.
I know! It is amazing. This girl has a huge imagination and she really believes in magic and fantasy still and I love that about her. I hope it lasts a few more years. :goodvibes

I was thinking that when I saw your list from yesterday! :rotfl2: Of course, your real to do list and normal everyday life is 10X busier than mine!

If any of you need anything from the Disney store- you should check and see if it is on the sale going on right now! They have a few pages of things that are buy one get one $1.
There is a Sofia suitcase Abi has wanted for months but I felt like it was more than I wanted to spend. But there was also a cupcake set that Maddy wants for her birthday and they were both on the sale!
So I bought both and will get the cupcake set for $1.
I then returned the Sofia backpack I bought at Target and will use the suitcase to hold her stuff for the trip instead.. and surprise her with that. She is going to be so excited! :cool1:
I also got a Sofia playset for regular price and the Doc McStuffins one that Maddy wants for $1.
I ordered our first Tsum Tsums too while I was at it since I was already paying shipping.
I can't wait! :cheer2:

Fairly new to the Dis and just found your PTR - really enjoyed reading your TR (I've been trying to read some with 5 year olds as we are going in Jan with 5 year old DS) and am looking forward to following along with this one!

:wave2: Welcome! Glad to have you along! Do you think you will do a pre trip report?

I know a lot of people on here like to get Crocs for their trips. They are on Zulily today!
I just picked up a pair of black crocs for each of the girls. I got both for less than the cost of one usually.
So if you need any Crocs- check it out here.
They also have a ton of "stocking stuffers" on there today and a LOT of it is Disney characters.

Our most recent movie night was Sword in the Stone!
I was lazy again with the meal because I knew we wouldn't be home much that day. We got some KFC to bring home. Then we ate a "Medieval feast" of chicken, potatoes, rolls, and ale (sprite :))

For dessert we made some brownies and pretended they were stones.

Some kids were excited to see if they could pull the sword out of the stone...

She did it!
We didn't end up doing an activity. We pulled the mattresses out of the girls' room and into the family room and we all snuggled while watching the rest of the movie and then had a campout. It was a pretty fun night.

Sword in the stone brownies! Cute idea! Sounds like a fun movie night! (So funny--we just had KFC the other night too! Great minds!)

Ohh What a great idea with brownies. You can keep the KFC ( :crazy2: ) i will eat the pan of brownies... :thumbsup2

Really a great idea!

How is your TO DO list coming?

Thanks! That's funny! Maybe they sent out some subliminal advertising.

Yeah, I am not a huge fan of KFC. It is okay every once in a while. We eat it every couple of years but I never feel that great afterward.
The brownies were delicious though. :goodvibes Definitely the kids favorite part of the night.
Oh my to do list....:rolleyes1:rolleyes1
Well, I have the fabric for one of the skirts cut out....
I got distracted. I decided I didn't like some things about my binder. There were some pages in it that were too big and made it harder to turn the pages. So I went back to Target (:woohoo:) and got some more of the mini binder page protectors and printed out some pages in new sizes to fit into them.
The last couple of nights I have been spending every spare moment putting it back together. In fact, I am hoping to spend a little time this morning while laundry is going to work on touring plans and putting more info into the binder. I know I won't be able to do much tonight because I have parent orientation at Abi's school for a few hours.
Hopefully I will have more updates, touring plans, and pictures of crafts soon!

I have a question for those of you who have done rider swap.
Can you do rider swap if the child just doesn't want to ride a ride or do they have to be shorter.
I am pretty sure Maddy won't want to ride Big Thunder Mountain or Splash. But she is an inch taller than she would have to be. So, I am not sure if I would be able to use rider swap on them.

Aww Sword in the Stone!! Thats one of my favorites! I love Mad Madam Mim! Love the sword in the stone brownies!! :cloud9::cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:

I have no idea about the rider swap though, sorry!

as far as I know, yes, you can use rider swap for whatever reason---child is too young, too short, scared, etc. they just want to see the kiddo when they give you the rider swap ticket so that they know you actually need a rider swap. it doesn't really matter what the reason is.

I have heard you will be able to use rider swap if the child is too scared. :)

Adorable movie night as usual, glad you got a little cooking break. Sometimes it's nice to have those nights!

Thanks! I was wondering about that. We haven't been to an amusement park for quite a while. But back at Six Flags, Abi would want to go on the ones that scared me but Maddy would be scared on the kid roller coaster. So, it's good to know.

Thank you!
It is nice sometimes to just have the work done for me. :)
