hello all! my name is tiffany, engaged to jarred, we have a 13month old baby girl ava. We got in engaged is disney in 2005 and are now finally planning our wedding. we have both finally graduated from college and can afford a "decent" wedding. we have chosen disney!

i am super excited, but my nerves are starting already. i am worried that i may not have that many guests. both of our mothers we be there god willing, and our daughter of course.

i am worried that ppl will think its selfish of me to ask them to go to disney for our wedding. i already had one friend say "oh, so yall are eloping" i dont consider this eloping, but hey some may.

i think disney is a great idea for a wedding and for my guest. they will only need to reserve one day for my wedding and enjoy the rest of the vacation to themselves.

question, do you all think Nov 2008 is a realistic timeline?

First of all, a Disney destination wedding is like any other destination wedding - just because people don't want to come, doesn't meant that you're eloping! :confused3

Second, I think it might be a bit hectic to plan for November, but - if you're all about stress, HAVE AT IT!! :cool1:

Hi!! I think you will be fine planning your wedding in that amt of time. We started in January and got married on May 12th of this year and I never felt stressed or anything. Disney does a great job of taking care of the hard stuff for you and you just need to make decisions on a few things (like cake flavors and flower colors!). I have a thread with my wedding pics on it, I too had an Escape wedding so yours might be similar and you can get some ideas. It's Jenny and Dave's SBP wedding, or something like that, lol. :)

I agree with the others, you can definitely do something this November if you want to!

The only word of caution is it can make it harder for your guests to plan something (or save money for) on that short notice but if you can be happy with having a few people who mean the most to you then you should go for it!

I planned my Intimate (now Escape) wedding in about 4 months and it was just what I wanted! Disney is "expert" at planning the Escape weddings and could probably do it in 90 days if necessary, but it would be good for you to call them as soon as possible so you can check availability for the dates/times/locations you want.

Congratulations and Good luck!
