Planning ahead - 1/2/2011 trip. How many points?

Can I assume that the point charts will be out before the 11 month window? They would have to be, right?

How can I plan ahead? We are looking at taking a 7 day vacation (1/2/2011 - 1/9/2011) Since Jan 1-31 is Adventure Season can I assume the 2010 weekly point total for a grand villa would be the same point total for a week in 2011.

In the 2010 point chart it shows that a week in a grand villa (1/2/2010 – 1/9/2010) is 560 points. Would it be 560 for the same week in 2011? I would think it would but I’m not sure.

You can assume that what is shown for 2010 will be the same for 2011. For 2010, points have been shifted at the resorts, in that DVC mainly raised weekdays and lowered weekends and made some minor seasonal shifts. Total points needed for all rooms for all year did not change. That is only the second time in history DVC made such a change (the last was in the early 1990s) and it is unlikely to happen again in 2011. Also, we should be seeing 2011 point charts before the end of this year.
