So I have been tinkering with our plans and making ADRs and I *think* I have finally came up with a plan I'm happy with. Naturally I am second guessing myself so would love some input from the people in the know :thumbsup2
DH and I with our two boys aged 3.5 and 1.5 will be travelling with DSIL and her DS11. I have tried to build in breaks when I can but am totally open to suggestions here :goodvibes

August 23rd - travel day, arrive MCO 3.35pm EST. Staying off site at Indian Creek so settle in and early to bed.
24th - Epcot rope drop at 9am. ADR at Rose and Crown for 12pm. Leave mid afternoon and early to bed that evening.
25th - MK. Was hoping for CP pre rope drop breakfast but no joy so far. Instead planning on hitting rope drop (in our previous 6 trips we have NEVER seen the opening show ) and have a 12.15pm ADR for The Plaza. Leave mid afternoon once the boys show signs of tiredness.
26th - break day. SIL might do IOA this day but we won't be joining them. Might make ADR for T-Rex late lunch, DS3 is dino-mad! Or would we be better off keeping this as a do-nothing day?
27th - AK rope drop. ADR at 12.30pm for Y&Y. Might not keep this. Leave mid afternoon again.
28th - HS. Might hit rope drop, if not we'll be there early. ADR for FDP at H&V for 12.15pm. Back to villa for break straight after and come back later for F!
29th - break day
30th - BB til midday then back to villa, Beaches & Cream ADR for 6.20pm then to Epcot for IllumiNations
31st - lie in, relax, maybe do DTD and then 'Ohana ADR for 6.30pm before back to MK for MSEP/Wishes
1st - TL til midday then relax for the night
2nd - ADR at CP for 8.10am, stay at MK til we decide to go back to villa
3rd - split day between AK/HS
4th - check into Poly and split time between MK and EP until we leave on 7th

If there are things you think I could/should change please feel free to comment. I am nervous about not getting it right with the kids in tow, I am trying to keep things as loose as possible but not finding that the easiest with my love of planning!!!

Looks great to me, plenty of rest time, you're so right to judge your length of days / when to leave parks by how the boys are doing. Might see you in MK on the 4th or Epcot on the 5th :). When mine were little definitely early starts and back to hotel for a rest when they'd had enough, now I have to make sure they get some lie-ins hoping FP+ will help with this. I'd do T Rex on your rest day, the boys will love it.

Looks good, 2.5 is a great age for Disney! Going back with 11 month old and a 4 year old this sept so will be interested in any tips with your youngest! If your kids aren't good when tired might be worth moving some of your evening adrs slightly earlier. In a tiny place like beaches and cream all it takes is a very slow party before you to set you back 30 mins.also worth looking at go land also worth looking at legoland for a preschooler

Thanks :goodvibes Must look into T-Rex on an off day, SIL is talking about shopping on those days so might wait until Labor day weekend when she's gone back home to do it!

I can't WAIT to see the kids there! DS3 was 14 months when we first brought him and he was great for us. We are surely finding that DS1 is a different ball game altogether so we may well have our work cut out for us with him on this trip!!! I'll definitely have a look at Legoland too. And at our evening ADRs. I might have to end up cancelling most of them if when we get there the kids don't do well with late evenings. DS1 is great for stretching between naps with minimal moaning (long may it last!) but DS3 doesn't do well when tired. He goes from perfectly fine to absolute meltdown in 60 seconds!! :rotfl2:The joys!! I'm hoping the next 6 months before we go will help with that. He's 3 since last month and still takes a good 90 minute or more nap every day. I know they will both need decent naps if we hope to get anything done in peace but it can be very limiting to be tied to naps and early bedtimes. At 14 months on our last trip we didn't do anything past 6pm in the evenings and DS3 was asleep by 7.30pm at the very very latest every night. I hope we can fit in some evening entertainment (and a MNSSHP if they decide to change their dates to include extra nights in early September - a girl can dream, right!) this time.

Hey - don't forget that at DHS, AK and Ep you can generally wander in anything up to 30 mins before rope drop these days - so worth arriving early if you want to beat the crowds.

Itin looks great - have a fantastic time

Thats great to know! I'm really hoping hitting rope drop and getting decent FP+ times will decrease wait times with the kids. I'm getting really excited now! 166 days and counting :teeth: Not too bad considering we started the countdown at 457 days :rotfl:I actually can't believe how fast its going!

Oh and on another note I got BOG for our second last night, just DS3 and I as DH has zero interest and he reckons Beast might be a bit much for DS1. Couldn't believe I got it to be honest but thrilled none the less :jumping1:
