All,

I am trying to plan a wedding at Shades of Green for June 2009.

My husband to be and I have been together for 7 years and my family thinks that we will never get married.

Since my sisters and families are planning a trip to Disney, we thought that we would surprise them with a wedding.

Problem: I come from a big family and want to invite more family members but I don't know if they will be able to come. How did you find out if people would be interested in coming to your wedding?

I was thinking about sending out sort of a Save the Date/Are you Interested Invite (Of course when it would not be a surprise wedding.)

Any advice.

Thanks,

Hi and :welcome: to the board with your secret identity! ;)

I believe princessdisneybelle had her wedding at Shades of Green so you might want to check out her planning journal for ideas and "how-tos" (LINK)

I think to get some kind of idea about who will attend you will either have to "bite the bullet" and send out save the dates (and let the secret out).

You might try just asking a few people to get an idea...maybe keep the secret from the family members you already know are going to be there and tell the others you would want to invite.

Or, just go ahead and plan for the secret wedding with the guests you know are attending (your sisters and families) and then have a reception party at home when you get back!
