Hi ,

I am from Canada and planning a trip for my 5 yr old nephew to LA and San Diego in June.

I need advise on things to do there. I would like to go to DisneyLand and the San Diego Zoo. But what else ?

Also, since I will not be driving, are there any tours or vacation packages that go to both these places ? If not, do you recommend flying between these 2 places or rail ?

Any hotel recommendations would be helpful as well.

Thanks a lot !

Legoland, maybe Universal. Look at the Socal Citypass for a cheap ticket deal.

I would also consider Knott's

I would take the train over flying. Flying would just take too much time. The Metrolink goes out of LA and you can transfer to the Coaster in SD county it runs often during the day, Amtrak runs many times too.

But from the DLR area you can take shuttle/ticket packages trips to these places. http://www.coachamerica.com/graylineanaheim/tours_parks.cfm

Also a beach day or half day would be good.

Hello fellow Canadian :thumbsup2,

We are bringing our DB9 and DS7 to San Diego and Anaheim in July for two weeks. The first week will be at the DLR and the rest in San Diego. We plan to take them to Sea World, the San Diego Zoo & the Wild Animal Park. All the "in between" time will be at the beach.

We decided that the Zoo and Animal Park would be a great experience for them over Legoland and Knotts. Plus time and money come into play.

Sorry I can't help you when it comes to transportation as we have always had a car to use while there.

How long will your trip be for? What is your budget?
