Hello all,

I haven't been here since my last trip in 2010, but I will be heading down to WDW with my lovely girlfriend and will be visiting my sister as she will be interning from January to June.

I was looking into staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. But I am so confused? Which view is better, the pool view, savannah view or Arusha view. Also, what is the weather like at the end of January? Will we be able to swim or use the water parks or is it too cold? Any help would be great. Gonna be checking this site out again over the next few months!

This is actually the subforum for people talking about their plans, rather than one where you post to get help planning. Subtle distinction, I know. :p

I suggest you repost your view and pool questions to the "Disney Resort" subforum:

You could ask the water parks question there, too, or in the "Theme Park Strategies" one maybe (not sure where it officially "belongs"), but no one will be able to give you a definite answer, because some years it's pretty warm, others not so much; some people (mostly northerners) are happy at the water parks at the average January temps; locals are not. And so on. ;)

But, for what it's worth, the average January high is the low seventies, and the average January low is around fifty degrees Fahrenheit. Disney's resort pools are all heated, I believe; no idea about the water park pools, though.

Good luck. :)

Sorry about putting this in the wrong forum

Please don't worry about it. You're not the first to do it, and you won't be the last! :upsidedow But you get more responses when you post to the people who care about the topic the most, is all. :)
