Hi Disney fans. I am trying to plan a sister trip in the beginning of May .There will be 5 of us so we will be getting a 2 bedroom.I will reserve my home resort SSR at 11 months but would love to try a split say at 2 other resorts if possible. What do you think my chances would be for that date, probably May 2nd. I'm not sure where to stay. I do love BCV and would love for them to see how nice it is there. It is the only other DVC I have stayed at myself besides SSR.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a "Ladies Trip" We range in age from 53 (me:cool1:" to 70, my oldest sister who acts the youngest:banana:" We have been on a couple of cruises together but I thought this would be fun, especially since my one sister has never been to WDW.

I am open to any thoughts. TIA:dance3::dance3:

Hi: BCV has the SAB pool with the great sand bottom. BWV also has a great location with a lot of restaurants and entertainment right there. You'll be able to walk to Epcot easily from either. The flower and garden festival will be going on in Epcot at that time. Check out the pictures of this year's show. Each DVC resort has its own advantages/disadvantages. The villas at OKW are the largest and it has the most laid-back atmosphere. The disadvantage for OKW, SSR, and AKV would be that they are a little "out of the way" and the bulk of your transportation would be buses. SSR and AKV are newer resorts. VWL is a great way to escape the crowds, but it is also smaller and harder to get at the 7 month mark. You can take a boat to the MK, but the other transportation is buses as well. BLT has a great location- you can either walk or take the monorail to the MK(walking is quicker). Keep reading the "I love . . . ." threads to see what the other advantages to each resort are. Good luck and have fun!

You all might enjoy going to Cirque du Solie (sp?) at DTD.
All the resorts have advantages and disadvantages. You'll have fun no matter where you stay. OKW does have more living room space though.

This sounds like a great idea! How about doing a short pros and cons list for each resort and asking your sisters? I did a trip with my 2 sisters back 1.5 years ago and we had an awesome time. We really didn't do anything special besides eating and drinking our way through the Food & Wine Festival but it was great.

Since you will be going during the garden show, I would check out one of the concerts. During my trip with my sisters, the joke all weekend was that my youngest sister (we were all in our 40's) needed to get a picture of David Cassidy for one of her friends since he was performing during our trip. Well, we all ended up watching the show and had a great time.
