Alright, new here, dunno if this has already been asked, or if there's some awesome infomative thread. Anyway, here's the jist:
Three friends and I are going next May, for our senior trip, to Florida, including Disney. What do we need to start doing, what do we need to plan, and when? I already have some ideas, but I dunno what exactly we need. (Two of us will be 18, two will be 17, if that helps?) Any info or tips are appreciated.

Money...lol Disney isn't cheap! Start saving now. :) Find every way to cut costs. Are there any adults going with you?

I gotta say, that dining plan is freakin sweet, and saves you a lot of money. I mean, A LOT.

I'm going with my bf and 2friends next June for a Senior Trip!:) From what DM has said the dining plan will save A LOT of money and to cut costs where ever you can.

Wow you're so lucky to go to WDW for your senior trip. My mom's highschool went for a Senior trip to WDW in '86. SHe had a blast. But my school doesn't do Senior trips. Which bothers me. :headache: Even though I'm only a Sophomore right now, I'm planning on doing a little senior trip to the world with my friends. =] GOO class of twenty ten.:cheer2:

I agree that the dining plan is a must. I too am going on a senior trip next summer and my family and I have begun to pick where we want to stay and which restaurants we want to eat at. You will probably be able to wait a while before you make reservations but should be begin to decide now.

First of all...YOU ARE SO FLIPPIN LUCkY!!!!!!!!
i'm jealous!!

alright,
so DEFINITLEY pinch EVERY penny.
and get the dining plan for sure!!
make sure you have restaurant priority-seatings in advance if you are planning on having sit-down meals, because if you don't have a PS, you will be waiting for a VERY long time.
Budget your time, make a schedule (like, plan what you're going to do on each day....obviously you can stray away from your schedule, but it's better to wake up and have a plan in mind rather than mull about and say "what do you want to do today?" for an hour!)

SAVE AS MUCH MONEY AS YOU CAN!
Because, I know, being 18, that when you see something you want to buy, you're gonna buy it,
So make sure you have enough money to actually be able to buy souvenirs and stuff.

And Budget your money as well,
like take a certain amount of money with you per day and leave the rest back at the hotel, so you won't spend it all on the first day and have none left for the rest of your trip.

And BRING MONEY FOR SNACKS!!!!!!
BEcause you know when you see someone walking around with a delicious mickey bar, you're gonna want one too! :goodvibes

HAVE FUN!!!
