So since my last update, I have started playing around with ridemax. It is still a bit early to make my plans through ridemax. Some of the info on the program is wrong. For example, I made an entire plan thinking HS was open from 9-9 on May 20th, when it is actually open from 8am-12am. Imagine if I showed up to the parks at 9am, thinking I was making it in time for rope drop when in reality, the park had been open for a whole hour
! I have to make my HS plan all over again
. On the plus side, I did manage to get almost all of the shows and rides on that plan (and it will only get better with the new hours, since I have more time). I wasn't able to get TSM on the plan (since that is the most popular ride, all of the FPs are usually distributed within the first few hours of the park opening and riding it generally requires getting a FP first thing in the morning, riding it first thing, or waiting over an hour later in the day). I think that with the park being open until midnight, I might have a better chance of getting everything done in one day.
I considered getting a park hopper so that Josh and I could hop from Epcot to HS on our "world showcase" day. We split Epcot attractions into two days, Future World and World Showcase. World Showcase day is our "sleep in" day
. The plan was that after Fantasmic on May 20th (after the park had closed), we would take a boat over to Epcot (which is open until midnight) and enjoy a little bit of World Showcase. The next day, we would finish up world showcase and hop back into HS to finish up the attractions there. Since HS is open until 12am on May 20th, I don't think we will need to hop from park to park.
I have finished the RM plan for our first two days (Our MK day and our Future World Epcot day). Our very first ride is Dumbo, followed by Snow White, Peter Pan, IASW, and Winnie the Pooh. We get 10 attractions done in the first two hours of the park being open (and all of those rides have a wait time of 10 min or less). Ridemax rocks
The downside is that I will probably have to go back and re-do the plans right before the trip to ensure that everything is accurate.
I find it easier to separate the attractions by area. On our first MK day, we are going to do all of the attractions in fantasyland, tomorrowland (expect for the speedway and astro orbiter, we are going to do those during EMH on our second day if the lines are short, but we might skip them if the lines are long), and Liberty Square.
So my bridal shower was a few weekends ago. It was so much fun! I also had my hair trial before the shower. That was not so much fun. The trial was supposed to take 2 hrs. It took three, which meant that I was an hour late for my own bridal shower
. It was good that we were late, though. My poor maid of honor and one of my bridesmaids were traveling together, and they stopped (about 30 mins outside of where I live and about 30 mins away from the bridal shower...my place is about an hour away from where the shower was held) to pick up a few things, and they locked their keys in their car. I live right across from my bridesmaid, and so we were able to get her spare key and drive it to her. Other than that, my bridal shower went very well. Here are a few pictures (more to come).
Sitting around eating yummy food
The cake (which was soooo yummy btw but apparently very expensive)
Me eating yummy food (I am the one in the dress with the "bride" sash
I was caught by surprise
.
My future sister and mother-in-law playing "pin the flower on the dress"
My Maid of Honor making a toilet paper wedding dress (she is the one on the right wearing the blue shirt and holding the roll of paper)
The models (sorry the picture is so fuzzy)
Me opening presents
I should have more pictures soon. My maid of honor took some amazing pictures (including pics of my hair) and she put them on a walgreens CD. Unfortunately, the CD won't work on my computer or Josh's computer
. What's up with that, walgreens?
