I am in the beginning stages of planning a Pub Crawl through Disney Springs. I have done this before at the BoardWalk and Epcot WS (in both directions) but not DS yet. We typically like an appetizer and drink, enjoy the scenery and move to the next bar.

As anyone done this? Would like to hear your recommendations.

We love outdoor bars. Do the bars at STK and Homecoming have easy access?

Thinking we start at Jock Lindseys, order a Lao Che's Revenge and a Cool-headed Monkey and then....

We loved the Homecoming bar. Inside and outside seats. The mac & cheese and the Bootlegger were fabulous.

Boathouse has a nice outdoor bar on the lake!

The margarita bar in the Marketplace (not a restaurant) has a nice seating area and views, too, by the lake. I'm not sure if they sell food, though.

For frozen drinks, Splitsville is my favorite and they have several different bar areas, both inside and out.

Jock Lindsay's was actually my least favorite bar. Cool menu but poor execution (weak drinks, meh food.)

Rooftop bar at Paddlefish looks very nice, and they seem to have a good drink selection.

Hole in the wall is an oldie but goodie. Also has a happy hour if you time it right.

Thanks, I just checked out DFB review of homecoming. I will move that to the top of the list. We will get our own drink then split an app
Homecoming - Bootleger and Mac - n - Cheese, then
Boathouse (3 bars to choose from here)- Old Fashioned and Rock Shrimp
Jock Lindsey
??
End the day at the Hole in the Wall, just a night cap here, no more room for food.

I Need one more stop.....

It's kind of like our own Food and Wine Festival.

Seems as if you like a nice cocktail. Morimoto maybe? We haven't actually stopped in here yet (hopefully, next time), but the drink menu looks different. Good different. :)

One more stop. Either like the previous poster suggested and try the top deck at the Paddlefish or if depending on how you are exiting, the Lava Lounge down on the water below the Rainforest. Lava has the appetizer menu that Rainforest has and sits right on the water. Paddlefish would be more expensive but have a more encompassing view.

Oh, and get the brats or the pretzels or both at Jocks with the Monkey head thingy.

I've actually done it several times (this past weekend being one!). Some random thoughts from my experience:

-If you enjoy craft cocktails, the bartenders at Paddlefish and Morimoto are arguably the closest you'll get. Food at both is good, though higher price point (even for DS). Paddlefish 3rd floor view cannot be beat (wish I could say the same for service.)
-Boathouse also does some ok classic cocktails at the main bar. Would definitely recommend that, then walk out to the dock.
-If you are beer drinkers, Stargazers is actually pretty good (avoid the main PH scene). There wasn't food when I was there, but they would do flights - all or virtually all Florida breweries.
-I'll chime in for Homecoming/Shine Bar as well. It's pretty decent - especially food wise.
-Jock Lindsay's is decent. Decent (though sweet) drinks. Good, but pricey apps.
-Hole in the Wall/Raglan Anything - definitely a go to. Food is good (especially the Cookes + Hole in the Wall combo!).
-A surprising dessert spot if you want something lighter to walk around with - the Joffrey's stand by Boathouse. They have frozen chai (and usually another frozen drink) which you can spike with Baileys or Vodka. A nice dessert to carry on your theme!
-Coca-Cola Bar is fun for the view. Drinks were fun, though not anything great.
-If you really, really want a margarita, I would do Frontera over Paradiso 37. But, neither did a ton for me food-wise or drinks-wise.
-I personally would avoid STK, House of Blues, Lava Lounge, Bongos, Wolfgang Puck and Portobello.

We did this on our last trip and had a blast. If you are looking for one more, what about Paddlefish? They had just reopened when we were there and they have a great rooftop bar/lounge area. Great place to catch a drink (though they are a little overpriced IMO) and loved their crab fries. We also did Jock's, Homecoming, and Morimotos and loved all 3!
