Planning 4th of July 2012 trip (SD hotel suggestions?)

Wow, just saw the thread about Cars Land opening. Sure hope that's the case, DS4 wants to see where McQueen and Mater live.

Carsland is confirmed to open in June.

Well, can't switch the rental (got a Hotwire, Hot Rate or whatever it's called). Felt better though when I priced out picking up the same size vehicle in SAN and dropping it off in SNA and that additional charge (or perhaps which agencies are at both airports) looks like it will end up being more than what the fare difference currently is.

DW just shakes her head and laughs at me during this planning with my spreadsheets, etc. Tracking every penny, marking actual costs in red if it's higher than what I originally saw it going for or had guesstimated and in green if it's lower than my original amounts. What does she expect from a bean-counter (especially one that is also a DIS-boarder who is a trip planner)?

That is great news. I just skimmed through it and thought it might not be official yet. I was getting concerned a while back when I heard people saying dates, and then just using Summer instead.

I'm sure DS4 will love Radiator Springs Racers, but I'm really looking forward to those floating bumper tires, as is DS8.
