Is anyone else having issues with a planner?? My Planner does not get back to me as quickly as I would like her to. I sent her some questions and it's been 11 days and still no response!
My planner told me she was away from her desk a majority of the time, so e-mail is not always the best way to get a hold of her. She recommended calling her or her assistant. I find that works so much better.
I had some major issues with my planner...she would not respond to emails and I would have to resend and stress that I needed an answer. Just make sure to stay on top of him/her...call and email as much as you need!
I had the same issue a few months ago. I would check my email incessantly to see if I've gotten a reply. I've found that in the last month and a half the replies are a lot quicker. Our wedding is in 18 days (yikes!) so I think the planners don't stress the details as much as we do until it gets much closer to the event.
This is exactly what I am worried about with my planner. I get more emails from her assistant but never a response from my actual planner. What's the point of the assistant? She might as well as be a wedding planner in my opinion as she is the only one I get communication from.
That stinks! I'd try calling if you don't hear back. I can understand it taking a few days to hear back but 11 days is really unprofessional. DFTW are expensive and you deserve proper communication! I have a Just Marry planner (through swan/dolphin) and she's never taken more than a day to get back to me.
Sadly yes. My planner / assistant were very difficult to get a hold of, Even withing days/ weeks leading up to our wedding. They were very inconsistent on many things...I have to say I am highly disappointed. We were married 4/10/11 and She was completely unprofessional and downright rude to many of my family members. I was brought to tears on my wedding day due to the way things were handled. What is even worse is that after paying well over 30,000 for our wedding I'm left to feel hopeless about the things that went wrong If it is early on enough I would request another planner or just stay on top of her...call everyday a few times a day if you have to.

Do You have Pamela Maddick? I got assigned to her last week. I missed her call be two minutes and called her right back she did answer... so I left her a message to call me back and she hasn't. She hasn't even sent a quick email saying she's busy and will call me when she has time. I don't know about you but I have my email on my phone and check it and get right back to people. When is your wedding? We will have to wait and see

I was starting to get worried when I hadn't heard from my planner in 5 days but I guess we are all in the same boat. It makes me feel alittle better and also gives me insight to maybe be a little more patient since everyone is contacing the planners. I was told this is the busiest time of year for them.
