I know I’m gonna get in trouble for this one…

But every time I see this mural I keep thinking… Is Mickey gettin a little fresh with Minnie??? & just how long have they been dating?

And then it came to me… that perhaps it was windy up on deck that night and Mickey was trying to be a true gentleman and he saved Minnie from having a Marilyn Monroe moment…

(Saw a couple of those on the ship... uh huh... (Ladies... Chiffon and deck 10 do NOT go together!!! )

I have heard that Mickey and Minnie are married in real life but they pretend to be sweethearts as did many of the old-time movie stars.

The fans did not want them married because that meant they were not "available" so the marketing people had them pretend to be only dating.

The real life marriage made their love scenes easier to handle and they were always cast opposite each other as that was less likely to break up a marriage.

(You know, many Hollywoodland marriages break up when the actors think they are in love with their current movie partner and later leave that one when they fall in love with their next movie partner.)

Tonight was our very first Formal Night…

I was excited… You see… a wonderful friend from my last cruise made me the BEST tuxedo I’ve ever had!!! Top hat and tails!!! What CLASS!!! (felt like Fred Astaire doing a tap dance through the Promenade Lounge!!! )

I ventured down to the atrium on my way to dinner… People looked downright spiffy…

There were some cruise mates who went a bit above and beyond (even me…) for our dinner tonight. I just LOVED this ensemble… a BEAUTIFUL Kimono…

Met up with my best pal… BRENT!!!

Very important guy on the ship… every day at noon they let him get on the PA system and tell us what we were going to do for the day… don’t know what else the guy does… nice accent though…

Here’s Steve and the Guys dressed up all fancy for the evening…

One wrong turn and I end up sitting in the coat room!!!

(Hey Shell… next time put a tissue up your sleeve… that’s what the real queen does… yeah sure… offer to carry her purse next time… HA!!! my little green furry butt!!!)

Afterwards we ventured out into the lobby where they were celebrating the Golden Mickey’s…. I didn’t win this year… Apparently I’m not ON the Disney Channel…

We ended the night with an after party at Spago with many of my celebrity friends…. (oh sorry…wrong awards show…)

Ok.. so I went to bed… I was tired… this little green furry butt can only take so much partying in one night!!!

Ok... now before I go on... I just want to address this silliness out of decorating one's door on board said cruise ship...

Yeah... yeah... alright... so we did it too...

Check out the Dis Green Planky LGMH... pretty cool!!!

By the second week on board... our wonderful Dis friends had covered it with so many great things that the joke was that they couldn't find our door... funny thing... we couldn't find it either!!!

Note the Dis green semi-Xmas stocking that Shell made for our Fish Extender... She also made an identical one for Steve and the guys... luckily they were on a different part of our deck or I would have had to go and check out 2 FE's and make off with ALL those gifties!!! Whoa... what sugar rush I would have had after THAT one!!!

Of course, one MUST have their own magnet. I think this one conveys my outlook on life... Right Bendy????

Planky will be continuing his TR as soon as his ghost writer can convince her ditzy sister (who she is visiting in Houston...) that it might be a really good time to pack the car and GO!!!!!

Luckily Planky is safe at home with Bendy and Jay... eating Cheese, drinking wine and watching us on the Weather Channel...

As soon as our little storm passes... and we can get on a plane back to where we only worry about the occasional N'oreaster... Planky and his editorial team will put their collective fuzzy little brains together and continue their journey together...

We were on deck one and had not signed up to be part of the Fish Extender gifts since our condo is so small we did not want to bring things back that we had no place to display or store.

Ok… Ok… sorry… I was just off checking on the Tequila futures… if the stock market is going to crash… at least I invested in something worthwhile… (and I get to write off this trip on my taxes…) right Bubba???

So… We were partying at Spago last I heard…

We had a special event while we were on board.. Grammy B had a birthday!!! (she won’t mind if I spill.. she made 76 and I think she was the grand dame of our cruise!!! )

We were very lucky to have bribed our way (thanks Jackie!!!) into one of the very special private room ressies for brunch at PALO!!!

Well it was… believe me…

First of all.. I went down to guest services and got her her birthday button. Can’t celebrate with out that now can we??? I had heard of the many FREE things you can get with Disney with this button… so I wanted to try it out…

It worked… she got desert every night of the cruise…. Just because it was her birthday!!!!!
