Plankton and the Mason's "Magic"-al vacation!

and his lovely wife Suz

P1020516.jpg

She is lovely isn't she? But, you have to wonder about her DH. :lmao:

It was ok, quite nice, wouldnt give it more than 7 out of 10, and then carried on our journey........our loooooooooooong journey to Southern Most Point.

Karen and Paige, we did the same thing. A local even gave us a "Short-cut" which gave us a tour through some rather scarey neighborhoods of KW. We were assured that the SMP was only 9/10 of a mile. After we were half way through Tony notified us that we still had 11 more blocks to walk! My kids were so ticked off that once we got there, I didn't have the heart to make them wait in the line which was now almost a block long for the obligitory picture. Instead we have a picture of two complete strangers standing there. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

then caught a cab back to the shops and bars near the ship.

We walked back!! :scared1:

The best 3 magnets were made by my dear friend Nancy to celebrate my 21st birthday............ok 40th then and one made by Shane for Ellis - thank you both!

Karen, I have to confess. I cannot take credit for "making" your magnets. I schmoozed to the right people and they designed them for me. All I did was print them out and bring them along. (You should've seen the one's I made. You would've thought that I hated you instead of the opposite).

Nancy, you know me so when I say I've "cleaned up" my post before putting it on innocent Karen's thread, you can just imagine what I wanted to say. :scared1: :lmao:

Don't forget, I've got some real good pictures of you. Remember all the "hey, Nancy" shot I took?

You mean the one's you promised to delete?

great report and photos karen!!
we happened to catch this odd character in rockn bar d every nite.
was this the mysterious bigred we've all heard about? or simply a side of planky we would rather not know about ?:lmao:

Tuesday 23rd October - AKA Grand Cayman day!

Woke up this morning and couldnt believe it was day 4 already:eek: - where did the days go??? Its flying by too quickly...much too quickly:sad2:

No time to dwell on that for too long ..it was brekkie time!!!

A phone call to check we were awake and then a knock on the door and in came two trays of brekkie - room service - you just cant beat it!

We met for our tender in Rockin Bar D, got a sticker to say which tour we were doing , grabbed some towels and we were off to the tender.

It was pouring with rain

Rain?

Rain????

Rain??????????????

I did NOT order rain

We got on the tender for the couple of minutes ride then we had a tiny walk to the pirate ship - I think Ellis was a little excited - he literally jumped for joy

"We likey pirates"

A quick barter with the taxi company got us a great discount so we all jumped in.

We were heading to Hell:scared1:

Loads of KK'ers were there and more joined us later - in the end there was a big bunch of us - all child-free and sipping cocktails - what a great life!

We stayed there quite a while but then I had to leave - I had a date with a Mad Hatter!

Wow, this was a nice relaxing KK'r time.
Wish we were all still there.

Banana Caribbe drinks by the pool:thumbsup2

Great pics Karen!

And I do believe I spy another Plankton ... that explains a lot. You must have had an imposter traveling with you if he was being polite and well-behaved.

Hmmmm, this is interesting... verrrrry interesting. :lmao:

Isn't it cool when they pop the cork on the champagne bottle with the sword? That was our favorite part of the wine tasting we attended on the Magic a few years back. :thumbsup2

PS. Your group shot turned out great - is there any way you can email me a copy so we can have one for our scrapbook?

He popped the cork using the base of a wine glass.

It was so cool!

But we tried it at home last weekend and couldn't get it to work:sad2:

We'll just keep on trying:thumbsup2

Yup, I'm reading this post. I could hardly wait to get home from work to see your additional posts.

Back to the pictures of your Outlet mall purchases. Way to go! We have driven by the Outlet Malls several times. DH always seems to drive faster and locks the doors as we go past. We just went by there about a week ago. I saw the Coach sign and started to ask if we could turn in. Mysteriously the car sped up as we went around the curve. :rotfl2:

Noted the Mom's had a great time at the Mad Hatter tea party. What kind of Rum was in your tea?!!:rotfl:

We likey the pirates too!! I call the pirate on the Left.

How do you get to the Pirate's Museum in Nassau. Please give specific directions as I am blond. Did you like the Pirate's Museum?

One more question for now. How did you book the Wine tasting?

Keep the posts and pics coming. I'm really enjoying this post!:cheer2:

Karen, I am LOVING LOVING LOVING your trippie!!! :woohoo: popcorn::

Looks like you guys had a rockin' good time!!! :thumbsup2 :cool1:

So Much better picture than I got!

It was cool but it broke the whole top off the bottle! I couldn't help thinking, "I hope there's no glass that fell into the bottle!" (I can't quite shake the nurse out of me)

It was a great afternoon - totally unplanned, totally relaxing and loads of fun - I wish we were still there too:sad1:

So glad you're enjoying the trippie and thanks for the lovely comments. I read some of the other trippies and worry this doesnt look to good in comparison, biut I'm trying so thanks for sticking with me:thumbsup2

We always have a good shop in the malls - everything is sooooo much cheaper than in England so I tend to take and wear clothes I'm bored with or that Ellis is growing out of, dump them after we've worn them and replace them with new stuff.
Make sure you go next time.

The pirate museum was in Key West not Nassau so cant help with directions to the one in Nassau - sorry!

The wine tasting was organised by a couple of other KK'ers. I think they just contacted Disney and said we had a large group interested and it ended up as our own private function, if there is just a few of you though they advertise it in the navigator - just ask as guest services and book it.

The next installment will be along shortly - still uploading photos:rolleyes: - it takes forever.:sad2:

Karen, I am LOVING LOVING LOVING your trippie!!! :woohoo: popcorn::

Looks like you guys had a rockin' good time!!! :thumbsup2 :cool1:

Ahhhhh thanks Cass - we had a fab time, it exceded our expectations in every way...the friends we made made it extra special:grouphug:

Did you like the photo of you and Kira? - I thought it was a georgous photo of you both.

So Much better picture than I got!

I would love to take credit for the photo, but as I'm in it, I cant:lmao:

I am pleased it turned out well though - most people are actually looking at the camera - it may have something to do with the fact I yelled - "Smile - this ones for Planky", or it maybe the fact that mine was the last camera in the pile so everyone knew it would be over soon...either way I'm pleased.

I thought the same about the bottle ....but i drank it anyway:rotfl2:

Wow! - just realized - my trippie is 8 pages long:eek: - that means people are reading it:eek: - thank you everyone:banana:

Keep your comments flooding in - good (or bad:scared: ) all are welcome.
